Hey Nielson is a website developed by the AC Nielson company for entertainment/informational value ONLY. Hey Nielson does not in any way determine ratings, whether shows stay on the air, or have an impact on advertisers. Networks and potential advertisers rely on the rating system by AC Nielson which uses random sampling of people from different backgrounds. The demographic analysis is necessary so that business can target products to their specific audience.
If one wishes to discount the ratings systems currently used, that should be based on sound mathematics and statistical analysis instead of "Yee-haw, we don't like this here Nielson thang."
And if you are still inclined to make up a worthless petition like this one, at least use grammatically correct sentences for christ sake. |

In my case I need to be up early in the morning to work, so shows that are on at 10:00PM and later I either have to tape or catch them on OnDemand. This I am aware of would cause my viewing to be considered a no watch for the show. There needs to be a way to count my viewing, so good shows are not canceled due to low live viewer ratings. |
