I'm hoping you are already working on a better system to account for alternate viewing methods. As someone who works nights, I don't often get to watch anything when it actually airs. It's incredibly frustrating to know that even though I'm watching (religiously, I might add) I'm unable to contribute to the ratings system. Shows that are some of the best productions on TV have millions of viewers who can't be counted (JERICHO!) and are in danger of being cancelled. The Nielson ratings seem completely outdated. I know barely anyone who can adjust their schedule for a TV show anymore, especially when the networks are posting episodes online to make sure we watch somehow. Somewhere out there, someone can come up with a much better system to accommodate for these new media outlets. Until that day, the Nielson ratings will continue to be skewed. Please get someone working on this!
I want to be counted for the 18-49 demographic that I am a part of, and that my shows need!
