The Related CO's Plan for Pier 40 sends a powerful message that the people who come to visit the area are more important than its inhabitants. We must pull our resources together and fight this plan to the best of our ability. |

| 1566 | Alex Sandler | Pier 40 has not only been a place of exercise for me, but more a way of life... i come here everyday to play soccer everyday and without it i don't know what i would do. Its one of the few nice fields in manhattan and tearing it down would be a huge mistake |
