The petition

To Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi

I am writing to remind you that as Speaker of the House and second in line for the Presidency of the United States, you represent all the people of this nation, not just special interest groups.

The Pledge of Allegiance to our flag is under attack by atheist Michael Newdow and the radical secularists on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Their desire to delete any reference to God from the Pledge must be stopped and this can only be done by passing the Pledge Protection Act of 2007 offered by Congressman Todd Akin.

As an American who believes that the Judeo-Christian heritage of the nation must be maintained, I am asking that you not follow the path of destruction promoted by men such as atheist Michael Newdow and extremist billionaire George Soros. I urge you to schedule a vote for the Pledge Protection Act of 2007.
