| 101 | Patricia Prayor | Shelley was one of the best you had second to Rob. We need him back if he would come back. He brought information to the public that they would other wise not have receive. He is missed |
| 102 | Cheryl Vinson | I have been a faithful listener and particpator of conversation at WAOK in Atlanta for a few years. When Shelley first arrived I had mixed feelings. As time went on he became the primary reason I listened to WAOK. I have NEVER cared for his replacement, so if you want me back during his time slot--bring him back! |
| 103 | Angela | The host that replaced him is so boring I can only stomach him for a few minutes. |
| 104 | A.J. | great talk show host |
| 105 | Anonymous | Will listen to WAOK until I hear that Shelley has returned. |
| 106 | Kevin M. Oliver | It is my understanding that Shelley was dismissed in a matter related to him supposedly not disclosing a measly $500 in consulting fees he received from a candidate running for office (Honeycutt). OK, I’m not seeing the problem, especially when everyone else on that station — Boazman, Janice Mathis of Rainbow Push, and Lorraine’s Jacques White’s pastor husband as president of Atlanta NAACP — is part of the so-called civil rights establishment. And we know good and well they take money from and represent the agendas of, all sorts of people and politicians.
REINSTATE SHELLEY! |
| 107 | Trecia Arlette | HE WAS THE ONLY REASON I LISTENED! I ACTUALLY SCHEDULED MY WORK AND ERRANDS AROUND HIS SHOW. NO POLITICS NO REALNESS NO SHELLY! BRING HIM BACK NOW! |
| 108 | Anonymous | What happen, Shelly was a very informative, educated radio talk show host. Whoever dismissed him made a BAD mistake.
He will survive and the dismissal was a made decision for lost of such talent to the radio station and the community. |

| 110 | Yvette Johnson | "The Right Side" was a truly engaging program. Although I often disagreed with Mr. Wynters, I would often sit outside my kids daycare center to ensure I wouldn't miss the end of the show. |
| 111 | Thomas Marsh | Bring back the man. He gives true balance to your station. |
| 112 | Ricardo Jacobs | He may have not had the same opinions as many people but he always brought someone on the air who disagrees with him more often that the ones who he agreed with. |
| 113 | Anonymous | I prefer his show to the one that is currently on. I quit listening to WAOK because I only listened to hear Shelley Wynter. |
| 114 | Barbara Jones | Let Us at least have a BALANCE in talk radio!!! I don't always have to agree with host, and I like conversation/debate that cause me to THINK!! I'm tired of ALWAYS being the VICTIM!! It's time we except responsibility for our actions, or lack there of. |
| 115 | JD | I want Shelly Wynter to come back. The 2-6 show is garbage now. |
| 116 | jamal jones | It's getting harder and harder to listen to 9 hours (not Rob) of the left, left side of W-not OK.
We need someone like Shelley to make us actually think before we speak. |
| 117 | William McDuffie | |
| 118 | Anonymous | Bring Shelley Wynter back! He is the only host on your programming that actually makes sense. Whether we agree or not with him, he can articulate his view points.
I will not be listening until he comes back |
| 119 | W. Linsey | Derrick is boring and dose nothing to help inspier creative thaoght. Shelley was the onlly reason I listened to WAOK.. Since his departure I try to listen periodicly to hear if anythng has change. I am regretfully disappointed!!!!!! I am African American 38 years old, college degree, married and father of 2. Metro Atlanta area |
| 120 | Adrean L | Please put Shelley Wynter back on WAOK, besides Rob Wilson, I rarely turn my dial to the station. We need a black (real) conservative point of view. The weekend shows are great with Mary Gill also. |
| 121 | Anonymous | I can't stay awake during the day without the right side! You all have shot yourselves in the foot. I can't listen to the station anymore. It's become boring. |
| 122 | Frances Boatwright | I would like to hear Shelley back on the air. |
| 123 | MIKE S | Shelly and I did' t agree on much politically. He could be arrogant and rude. However I must admit though we differed on ideology. He was a informed , thought provoking and entertaining commentator. He is missed. |
| 124 | bernard williams | A voice of the people has been taken away. Please put Shelley Wynter back on the air! |
| 125 | cwm | i believe mr. wynter raised the national stature of waok's programming. your management would do well to reinstate mr. wynter. |
| 126 | JB | BRING HIM BACK..It is absolutely boring now. |
| 127 | Michaela Gilliam | Bring him back! We need some balance on this station. |
| 128 | Elizabeth Walker | I wanna hear Shelley anywhere he can get on the air. His presence raised that station up to a level that Bozman can only hope to reach....There are listeners in the Black community that crave the intelligent stimulation that only Shelley knew how to deliver |
| 129 | lemesio | I no longer listen to WAOK now that Shelly is no longer there. REINSTATE Shelly!! We need you back to put the smackdown on all those whiny, no self responsibility, I am a victim" minded individuals in our community. |
| 130 | DONALD GREEN | Please!!!!!!. |

| 132 | Willie F. Smith | This has been the most painful thing to adjust to. Shelley's approach to thinking challenged us as people to get out of the 50-60s normal way of thinking and dog gone if the management hasn't swayed to the voice of a few knuckle draggers who refuse to think about possibly changing the way we as people should do things. Maybe it was the direct assault of our mind to change our way of thinking.
This is a shame. Bring the man back and lets effect real change in our community. |
| 133 | Ms L | Bring Shelley back to WAOK radio station asap - from 2pm til 6pm preferably. He added a different and very much needed view for the listeners. The person now in his place is no comparison - it is now boring and typical. I now find myself listening to 102.5FM and 750AM since Shelley left. WAOK use to be my favorite radio station. Shelley Wynter followed by Lorraine Jock-White are my favorite. I hope that management or whomever is responsible for Shelley leaving, will put their pride aside and bring him back. The station sucks without him! |
| 134 | mae sims | shelly wynters is a dynamic radio host because he brings out different points and make people think for themselves, he's not the status quo. his show is interesting and informative. i look foward to his show everyday. since he left the show i rarely listen to waok in the afternoon. please, please, please bring him back. i'm sure since he left your ratings have went down, because everyone i talk to who use to listen doesn't listen anymore. |
| 135 | Deborah | Mr. Wynter brought a different point of view to the listening audience that you're not getting from some of the other black radio talk show. |
| 136 | Al Terel | |
| 137 | CHARLIE MAE JACKSON | you all need to hire Shelley back because he was
so informed. Derek Bowman dont get the job done
like Shelley . |
| 138 | karen williams | I can't find my footing with your replacement for Shelley. Derreck Bozman is not as engaging, entertaining, or objective as Shelley. Please reconsider your decision to remove Mr. Wynters from your line up. |
| 139 | Joseph | Shelley was THE most dynamic host on the face of this earth!! He is sadly missed!! Put the brother back on!!! |
| 140 | Kristoffer Walker | |
| 141 | Inez Goodin | Please, please reassign Shelley Wynter at WAOK
radio. Loyal Listner. |
| 142 | jason | Shelley Wynter was the best thing WAOKI had going. |
| 143 | Anonymous | Shelley's viewpoints usually aligned with mine in many areas and in some instances, i.e. homosexuality, we didn't/don't agree, but the brother is knowledgeable and for the most part informed. Shelley articulates and speaks well, something Derrick Bozeman does not do well. PLEASE bring Shelley back |
| 144 | Anonymous | I was a loyal listener at one time. Shelley held my interest. He keeped us informed, very articulate, knowledgeable. Please bring Shelley back. Derek Bowman does not compare. I also love Lorraine too. |
| 145 | Carolyn Stewart | My husband and I are very disappointed that Shelly has been dismissed and have actually stopped listening to the station. If he comes back and we are notified we will definitely change from AM750 back to WAOK. |
| 146 | jean st felix | so that is what happened to my favorite host on waok.
the sad part of it all, management kept his right side theme to sucker listeners to think that is the right side with Shelley Wynters. what a shame He was the only reason i listen to that boring station. I actually would listened to the other guys just because Shelley was there. Now yo have a real counterfeit from 2-6pm or why would you still have the right side theme. I'm not one of those suckers, I know better so does your ratings. bring him back before he lands somewhere else then your ratings will really plunge further. |
| 147 | Anonymous | Shelley is not only creative, he thinks outside the box. When it comes to true critical thought, no one before or since him has demonstrated the capacity to think critically or with the wit and versatility "off the cuff" as did Shelley. WAOK should reassess their reason(s) for letting him go, put pride aside, listen to its community listeners, and re-instate this very talented talk show host. |
| 148 | Murray Dabby | Shelley is a unique radio host. Loved his style and interesting talk even though I am not a conservative. Other radio host tend to lull us to sleep, vs challenging us. Plus, despite his bombastic style, Wynter is pretty open to others points of view. |
| 149 | Anonymous | bring shelly back NOW!!!!!!!!! |
| 150 | Anonymous | The time slot is truley boring and one-dimensional and drips with victimology. I did not always agree with Shelley, but he did ignite out-of-the-box thinking. Yes we have been wronged as a people, but enough of the same ole tired woe-is-me dialog. |
