| 1 | AVIS BLANTON | I cannot believe that WAOK fired Shelley. Are you guys crazy. You must not listen to the show. He had great guest and great topics. His call-ins from across the country have skyrocketed.
I HATE THIS. I will not listen to the programing that has been put in its place. It is so dead, no spirit at all. I tune out now right after Rob WIlson.
BRING SHELLEY BACK!!!!! |
| 2 | Kaie Collins-Jones | Bring Shelley back...
This listener is tuning out at 2 until he returns. |
| 3 | Jerome Wilson | Will we ever learn! |
| 4 | Myra Coleman | Shelly is the best! |
| 5 | Mary Soley | I don't listen to WOAK station anymore, nor will I listen again until they bring back the best (bbbb) brother on talk radio. Shelley Wynter the common sense talk show host. We all know what America needs right now is a common sense perspective.
WOAK DON'T BE ON THE WRONG SIDE, BRING BACK THE RIGHT SIDE. |

| 8 | ken alston | I appreciate Shelley's alternative way of thinking about the world around us, as well as his sense of humor and sense of community. I started listening to 1380 because of Shelley and have turned others on to 1380. I am not compelled to listen to 1380 as much without Shelley Wynters.. |
| 9 | Anonymous | I did not always agree with Shelley, but I feel a different approach is needed in our community .... and that is what his show brought to the table. He has now been replaced with someone that talks the same talk that has gotten own coummity nowhere for countless years. |
| 10 | Roderick Grimes | This might be the worst thing this radio station has ever done. Maqnagement will rue this day |
| 11 | Lady J | Shelley made you really think about what you believed in and why. He brought in great guests and he did a lot for the community. My daughter and I always brought things during his show when he was collecting for different organizations because he was inspiring. Bring Shelley back. Think back on some of the things some national talk show hosts have said and they have been on the air for decades. I am disappointed in WAOK. When you bring him back please e-mail me because I won't hear it announced on your station since I'm not listening until he returns. Thanks for taking the time to read this e-mail.

| 12 | Maxine Fears | I enjoyed having both sides presented |
| 13 | Murray Dabby | He is a strong unique voice and needs to be kept on the air. |
| 14 | samuel farrar | It seems as though if any one who gets a back bone at waok gets fired. Maybe we should all be appoligist like the over shows and never ask the tough questions(excluding Derick Bozmen). |
| 15 | Anonymous | I think that Shelley was the only person to boldly challenge the status quo and encourage people to think for themselves. His voice is greatly needed in our community. Please bring him back!!!!!!! |
| 16 | Audrey Syphoe | WAOK, Please bring Shelley back! Letting him go
was a terrible mistake! |
| 17 | Mike Pickering | Shelley Wynter is an important voice in Atlanta! We need independent thinkers like his on the air! I regularly listen to his show as I did Rob Redding's - without their voices I can't see why I would continue to tune in to WAOK. |
| 18 | Anonymous | Very good radio and not the same without the right side. Bring Shelley back!!! |
| 19 | Vincent Phillips | Shelley was the show that brought me to WAOK. I no longer listen without his show being on air. |
| 20 | Charlotte Hutchins | WAOK really needs Shelly because he has such a different perspective. I am sure the ratings are going to drop drastically. |
| 21 | Tandra Davis Phillips | I think we have really lost a huge voice. I have never been a listener of talk radio but Shelley brought a voice and issues which where of interest to me. I'm really disappointed that WAOK has release with such character as Shelley. |
| 22 | Carnell | I have no reason to turn to 1380 AM anymore. Shelley's show was the best on the air in his genre. |
| 23 | Ketema Paul | If Shelley Wynter has indeed been dismissed from WAOK it is unacceptable and a typical example of the self hatred that prevents african-americans from gaining equal representation in the press. I completely disagree with the majority of Mr. Wynter's opinions but I have been very pleased to see our culture advance to the point that we are able to have constructive dialog about the issues that are important to black people. Or so I thought!!! |
| 24 | Anonymous | I think Mr. Wynters gave us a fresh view of opinions and he is a very informative talk show host. |
| 25 | David Scott | Please reinstate Shelly Wynter immediately. |
| 26 | Michaelwright | |
| 27 | Sean Williams | BRING BACK THE RIGHT SIDE!!! |
| 28 | Anonymous | We miss Shelley................ |
| 29 | Jeffrey Jones | I loved Shelly's perspective on the black experience. All the other urban talk stations I've caught just seem to commiserate with callers. Shelly challenges you to think! |

| 31 | Peter | Shelly Whnter always tell it like it is. |
| 32 | Anonymous | Bring back Shelley Wynter to WAOK.. |
| 33 | Anonymous | YES REASSIGNMENT... BECAUSE YOU ARE LOSING YOUR LISTNERS.. i WAS A LOYAL LISTER... |
| 34 | charles | Being Shelly Back |
| 35 | Orisa Durggin | I do not always agree with Shelley's views but he trulty cares about our community and it is unethical to fire someone because of their personality or views. Your ratings will tank because of this move. I love Derrick but we need Shelley and others like him on our community stations. |

| 37 | Anonymous | WAOK just lost another listener. The Right Side was the best show on-air at AOK. His firing was not a-ok with me. His was the only show that expressed a differing point of view. I enjoyed his passionate debate and engaging conversation. He also had the best on-air guests. The replacement host (Derek Boazman) can't hold a candle to Shelley intellectually, logically or rationally. His delivery, logic and speech is awful!! He makes my ears hurt!!! WOK just lost another listener---and many more, if I have anything to say about it, as I will tell everyone I know not to listen to the mindless chatter being spewed on AOK. |
| 38 | Anonymous | I respectfully request you reinstate Mr. Wynter to position on WAOK immediately. |
| 39 | derrick thomas | Shelley was a breath of fresh air, and his voice is definately needed in our community, we want to support black talk radio by being loyal listeners, but if shelley was let go because of his opposition to the majority of the listeners, is definately a shame on waok. hopefully i can surf the internet, and find a more positive black talk radio. |

| 44 | Stacy Spear | Other than Rob who I can't listen too since I'm working, Shelley was a breath of fresh air to the Black Atlanta community. Now hes been tanked and replaced by a lets have riots and protest for our handouts guy. Jeez, what a waste of airspace. My 1380 won't hit my display any longer. |

| 47 | elhajj | I am very disappointed in waok, and I just can't get into the new guy. BRING BACK SHELLEY!!!! |
| 48 | Gary Augustin | |
| 49 | Ann Powell | I have been looking for Shelley for the past 2 weeks. I did not agree with all of his comments but he was very insightful, well-rounded, and intellectual. WAOK needs him back and I will definitely sign the petition. I originally thought he was on vacation but then I decided to google him and this page came up. What will WAOK do without him? |
| 50 | Tino | WAOK is now a worthless station. One of my goals was to advertise my business during his time slot. Not any more. I really miss listening to him. I hope he doing well and I wish him the best of success in his future endeavors |
