Richmond Community Schools Dress Code

We, the parents, guardians and students of Richmond Community Schools in Richmond, IN, petition the Richmond Community School Board to ammend the Code of Student Attire which was revised May 2009 to include that pants, shorts, shirts and tops, skirts and dresses and outerwear can be plaid or striped and contain brand named logos such as Nike, Aeropostale, etc. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find items to purchase for school that fit the criteria of the current Code of Student Attire. This is also imposing additional costs to parents, guardians and students as many current wardrobes do not include plain clothing items.

4 years ago Comments: I will do another picket next year if need be, and every year after, and keep voting to get the "hater" off the school board. The one that husband works for Kicks 96 & who had the childish comment to call us,( white trash) the ones trying to bring some normality back to public schools and bring the focus back to learning and we the parents are not going down without a fight!!!!!!!!
