To claim what Freud WOULD have thought as FACT is politics not scholarship. How do you know what Freud would have thought of Sharon? Many among his analytic descendants correctly (in my opinion) see him as appropriately defending Israel against terrorism. |

As to Freud's opinions about political situations, I believe he is best considered under the sway of his own dynamics and personal issues.
