Dear Sir,

We, the undersigned, ask you to run for President of the United States on an independent, third party ticket.

America is in a crisis. There are many deep divisions over issues. Among these are the war in Iraq and the inability of government to respond to pressing issues.

Your diplomatic and military experience, along with independent and moderate views on issues will help bring us together.

We ask that you overcome your dislike for running for offfice. This is another duty that you should perform for our nation,
