| 25 | Linda | Seck | CA | US | I so not live in San Bernadino County, but have visited there every year for 17 or more years for the Riverside Telescope Maker's Conference. The lighting and possible loss of the night skies in that area are important to me and others who attend that conference. |

| 31 | Jerry | Day | CA | US | As an amateur astronomer, I am keenly aware of the quality of the night sky. I have watched with dismay as unchecked development of the valley and Mojave Desert areas has proceeded - often with poorly designed and wasteful illumination that rapidly, and often unnecessarily, further degrades the once dark desert skies. I find that I must travel ever farther into the desert or mountains to escape the encroaching light pollution in order to find a truly dark sky. There are few places left and those, too, are being encroached on from all sides. I strongly support this proposed lighting ordinance.
Sincerely,
Jerry L. Day |
| 32 | Carol | Wiley | CA | US | I am very concerned about the issue of light pollution. |
| 33 | allen | hwang | CA | US | Please restrict the unnecessary and excessive
lighting that causes glare and light trespass while
causing a huge waste in energy resources.
Thank you. |

| 35 | allan | brassard | CA | US | |
| 36 | Robert | Jones | CA | US | The mountain areas are not dark, there are just fewer airborne particulates to scatter the light - the sky is actually quite bright. |
| 37 | Thomas | Jones | CA | US | I have been a full-time resident of the San Bernardino mountains for over 20 years. The beautiful night-time views of the Milky Way have all but dissappeared thanks to light polution. This will help reduce the problem. |
| 38 | Rudy | Rodriguez | CA | US | Our children deserve the opportunity to view the night sky and learn more about the universe they live in. |

| 43 | Mischa | Stuhler-Safdie' | CA | US | I am in favor and supportive of passing any dark sky initiative for San Bernardino County. I think it is important to prevent light pollution and preserve view of an existing and natural universe to this and future generations. |

| 48 | Todd | Hansen | CA | US | I spend 2 weekends each month at a location near Landers in San Bernardio county, under the still mostly dark skys doing astronomy. So I do spend $ there because of it. |
