| 51 | Bonny Morlak | What are the reasons for Powerlink to plan these ugly pylons through a beautiful landscape? It is hard hard work to build them through hills and valleys. What stops them from building the line along the highway? Great access and the landscape already has industrial use...
Who earns more by doing it the hard way? |

| 55 | SALLIE STRANG | THE STATE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO LISTEN TO THE VOICES OF THE PEOPLE THAT THEY SERVE. EUMUNDI AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING TOURIST ROUTE 22 IS A PARTICULARLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND IS AN IMPORTANT DESTINATION FOR TOURISTS. THIS WILL BE RUINED FOREVER IF POWERLINK PROCEEDS WITH ITS PLANS. |

| 58 | Pamela Clune | More Sustainable and practical thinking required by the State Government and Powerlink Companies.
The Government, Powerlink Companies and their agency employers also need to be real of today’s value, honest, mindful and display respect for the wellbeing and future of all current property owners that will be effected. Corporation and Community gain should not be at the experience of others. Fair play for Fair gain!! |
| 59 | Anonymous | Consider line along Bruce Highway,or along railway easement to eliminate very costly claims for loss of quality of life of residents affcted |

| 61 | cindy liu | the voice of people must be listened and respected
we don't want such giant power pylons through, we prefer the quality of life. |
| 62 | peter gralike | We say NO to high voltage overhead powerlines through the valley! |
| 63 | Judi Britten | What has been protected over many, many years a government owned company will destroy practically overnight. Their policy is "least cost" therefore they inherit bullying- divide and conquer tacticts to achieve there objective.Alternatives that are on offer may use more dollars but have less impact on health, wildlife and visual appearances that surrounds these ugly towers. |
| 64 | Jennifer Broomhall | |
| 65 | elisabeth higgs | Keep the powerlines and other eyesores, such as railway tracks, roads and waterlines in the same place---together. i.e. when roads are being planned allocate 60 metres either side of them for these monstrosities. Run these particular lines down the side of the bruce highway, it CAN be done. |
| 66 | Kay Cairns | I visited this area in January 2008, & thought it to be one of the most scenically beautiful areas I had seen .The natural beauty of the area should as much as possible ,be preserved for us all to enjoy.
Apart from the possible health risks to the residents, it is also that the giant power pylons are so ugly! It would be an abomination to so scar this most magnificent landscape before seeking out alternative solutions |

| 71 | Carlos Sanchez Caballo | This is a very important issue that needs to be resolved, not only in the interest of the local community , but as an example for the future of climate change and also health issues with powerlines. |
| 72 | Arlene Lucas | Keep the pristine countryside atmosphere of Eerwah Vale by not letting this monstrous project spoil some properties. |

| 74 | Anonymous | Would most certainly like to see as much as possible underground and hope the best assessments are being undertaken for routing etc. |
| 75 | Anonymous | I object to the planned Powerlink proposal for the reasons that it will destroy the natural beauty, destroy the wildlife corridors and the health of local residents will be harmed. |
| 76 | Veronica Lim | New power pylons are not the solution. We need, we must look at alternative and sustainable LOCAL power generation that eliminates the need for new pylons and stops wasting energy in transportation. This proposal is spending money on the wrong thing. It has the wrong focus. Come on, we are in a new era. People at grassroots level are taking personal responsibility. Don't be left behind - change your thinking and your focus onto long-term solutions and you'll be supported by the community. |

| 89 | Martin Sergas | It is typical of our state government to select the prettiest, most environmentaly valuable areas of south east Queensland and sytematically and ruthlesly try to destroy them. Sad Fuckers!!!! |
| 90 | alison bruce | Why don't Powerlink tell the people why the most viable option (going along the Bruce Highway ) is not a possibility . It seems common sense to everyone else , so why not them? |
| 91 | Moya Shanks | As we live on Blackmountain Rd we already have the 'misfortune' of having an existing ONE giant power pylon on the left-hand side to the entrance of our driveway, and with the new proposal Powerlink want to build ANOTHER ONE on the right-hand side of the entrance meaning that we will have TWIN TOWERS on our land and have double the volume of EMF, Powerlink DO NOT worry what or how it will effect families. What a bloody ugly site that we will have to endure day in and day out, and be constantly worried if any family members become ill if the EMF's are the cause of it!! When we purchased our property 5 years ago we knew about the existing easement, but there was NEVER any mention of any further pylons being constructed in the future...if this was the case we certainly wouldn't have made the purchase, now the property will lose most of its value and even if we wanted to sell.... who would purchase a property with TWIN TOWERS that to enter or depart the property you have to drive between the TWO of them!!!! This could all be avoided if more thought was put into looking at alternate routes especially underground..I have learnt this is NOT a SMART STATE. ............Q.L.D. stands for Quick Let Down, because that is what it is doing to the ratepayers/
landowners....letting them down.
Bob Abbott is the big man for the big job, BUT WHY can't he put some input into the discussions etc on behalf of his own local citizens.....maybe BOB would like tp have TWIN TOWERS built at the front of his property...THEN HE WOULD HAVE PLENTY TO SAY!!!!!!!!! |
| 92 | Diet Simon | Faceless, unaccountable government corporation bureaucrats allowed to ruin the lives of thousands - any land seizures should need a parliamentary majority. |
| 93 | Robert Woodley. | to destroy the beautiful natural landscape with pylonts and cables, when alternative measures are available in unforgiveable. Governments seem to have plenty of money to give away on completely useless causes - use some of it to devise and underground system. |
| 94 | Michelle Fleming | Why are they not spending the millions of dollars on alternative power sourses. I am just blow away at the ignorance of the government endorsing these actions of power link |
| 95 | Lesley O'Malley | |
| 96 | Cory Tsilfidis | I was born on this property and now Powerlink will ruin it by cutting it in half with dangerous and unhealthy powerlines. My parents will not be able to build their dream home here and all our plans for the future are destroyed. |
| 97 | J Mengel | Following existing infrastructure as in roads, railway lines would be more sensible for accessing for inspections, repairs etc. As for the substation, again, being located beside the highway for the same reasons would be more sensible. |
