We, the below citizens and users of sports fields in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, support the construction of a new lit synthetic turf field at Pitt Meadows Secondary School, and support the attached report of recommendation as presented by Mike Murray, manager of Parks and Leisure Services.
Although this report has been adopted into the current 5 year capital plan and is supported by both the Parks Commission and Pitt Meadows Council, we want to further demonstrate to council our communities' need and desire to see this field funding be in place for the 2008 budget, as suggested in the following report:
