The purpose of this petition is to bring Christopher Uminga on as a guest cover artist for Marvel's ongoing comic series 'Star Wars' (2015-).
Dear Marvel Worldwide Inc. (Marvel Comics),
We the people request that artist Christopher Uminga be brought on as a guest cover artist for Marvel's 'Star Wars'(2015-) comic series. Whether Uminga's guest cover be by virtue of a feature cover or a variant cover would be at the discretion of Marvel Worldwide Inc. (Marvel Comics).
It is our belief that Christopher Uminga's work with Marvel Entertainment Industries parent company The Walt Disney Company on official Disney park memorabilia should in-and-of-itself provide enough credence to put Uminga in contention for a position to appear as a guest cover artist for the'Star Wars'(2015-) comic series.
Artist Christopher Uminga has maintained a strong and steady convention presence over the past several years where he has provided the public with his artistic services. Christopher Uminga supplies his fan base with a steady stream of new artistic creation (and the aforementioned officially licensed items).
Christopher Uminga is a dedicated fan of the "Star Wars" series and brand. Christopher Uminga's works over the years (by way of: fan creations, tribute art, artistic commission, and gallery pieces) have reflected that sentiment all the while garnering acclaim amongst his many fans and the general public. It is our belief that Christopher Uminga possess the artistic: tenacity, talents, and passion required to do the'Star Wars' (2015-) series and Marvel Entertainment Inc. due justice as a guest cover artist.
Though this may be true Christopher Uminga's presence in the actual comic publication process is lacking despite how influential Uminga has become amongst conventions and several mainstream companies and their subsidiaries (i.e.: DC Comics Inc., Marvel Entertainment Inc, & The Walt Disney Company).
It is our belief that Christopher Uminga's unique variety of artistic stylings will be fitting and worthy of guest covers for the'Star Wars'(2015-) comic series. As a means to demonstrate precedence for unique artist such as Christopher Uminga we reference artist Skottie Young's guest covers for issues #1-#3 of the upcoming "Star Wars" comics series (2015-) which have already garnered acclaim from various popular media outlets such as (Zalben, A, 2014).
It is the wish and humble request of the undersigned to see Marvel Entertainment Inc bring artist Christopher Uminga on as a guest cover artist. Though this petition speaks specifically to the 'Star Wars' (2015-)comic series we also humbly request that Marvel Entertainment Inc. consider Christopher Uminga for additional guest cover opportunities.
