AnnFletcherGBI have read Florence's story and truly feel that she was a victim rather than a criminal. It is time for justice.
DavidAyresGBJames Maybrick was obviously addicted to both arsenic and strychnine and probably rotted his liver
CarlyLeeGB
MitchDundeeWe know her husband was Jack the Ripper because the last victim had a son with composer Sir Arthur Sullivan, and we know already fellow composer Michael Maybrick put an end to Jack's work by killing James.
carolekempGBit was michael
amandarobinsonGB
AnonymousAnonymousGBturn battlecrease house into a museum in memory of Florence.
paulbestGBflorence's defence should have been have been more alert. ie: at the time a big deal was made about florence's affairs than her husbands james.

AnonymousAnonymousILVEi think that we should as a country find out why this thing was left for us
AnonymousAnonymousGBno way is this woman guilty she was just looking out for herself and her children
LindaGoodswinGBI DON'T THINK FLORENCE KILLED JAMES, I THINK SHE WAS SET UP. I THINK JAMES WAS JACK THE RIPPER.

KevinMichaelCAIt's about time.
AnonymousAnonymousGBI lived by battlecrease house as a student was in the same rd and visited the shop that was once the chemist involved in this story. I had a weird experience when walking home one night myself and my pal saw a shadow of a man in one of the rooms looking out over the cricket field when we looked to where his eyes fixed we saw a grave stone next day we looked in daylight and there was nothing there. it was years later that i heard about the maybricks and about the ripper theory. still not conviced we wern't just a bit tipsy and imaging things but thoughtit was a nifty tale for here lol

DaveTheratGBLong overdue and a step in the right direction i know we will never right all historic wrongs but to admit them is a start
ColinGibbsGBHaving read all the books and historical documents regarding the trial and conviction of Florence Maybrick I am, along with very many others, convinced of the poor woman's innocence and mis-trial.

Wes PaulGerrardGBThis trial as with many others of the time was an absolute travesty of justice. Withheld evidence would have resulted in a not guilty...

AnonymousAnonymousAUI believe she was innocent
amy louisemasonGBListen i no he did rong, But personally i fink people shud stop judgin him 4 sumin he done, he may of done these fings 4 reason. N yeah i no his my family n stuff but seriously not everyone does it 4 fun, most people have reasons.
AndrewjohnsonGBhi, I have just wrote a book on Jack the Ripper and have new evidence through walter sickert, pat cornwell did not have a clue as the sketch is in her book which she did not notice, i can not give further details, but Maybrick was involved, the two Maybricks were involved, and yes MRS Maybrick was convicted unjust, and is reported so to this day in British justice, even in 1888 in England people new something had gone against her, and through the Ripper situation it may well be connected, Micheal Maybrick was a very high power Free Mason, as i am writing a book on the subject i can not give to much away, but yes it seems some thing was not right in the evidence, and power influence played a part. all the best ap johnson, England
HannibalLavine JrMIUSI firmly believe her name should be cleared of all charges.

RussellGoddingGBI am not sure if James Maybrick was Jack the Ripper but I am sure Florence Maybrick did not murder him, at worst it was euthanasia.
marcussumserGBin todays courts she would be found not guilty. i don't think he's jack the ripper the diary is a very good hoax.
michellejordanGBi have read all i can on the case and it was a tribble misscarrage. The fact they let her out instead of hanging her also points that they knew.
eileenohnsorgeAUi think he probably overdosed himself and left the evidence to blame her
AnonymousAnonymousESShe was too young when she married. Evidence did not prove anything. She was a sufferer.
andrewpatrickGBi strongly believe that james maybrick was jack the ripper and his wife knew nothing about it and she never killed her husband
AndrewPayneGBI, also, am sure that Maybrick was Jack. His unfortunate wife was drawn in and held without evidence. However, was I her, I would have finished off the loathsome man....
