The petition

Term limits date back to our countries American Revolution. Why?
As quoted by Thomas Jefferson, "to prevent every danger which might arise to American freedom by continuing too long in office the members of the Continental Congress".
Mercy Otis Warren also warned "there is no provision for a rotation, nor anything to prevent the perpetuity of office in the same hands for life; which by a little well timed bribery, will probably be done". Gee ya think?

It baffles us here at Phil's Gang as to why most states keep voting for these same Senators over and over again? And yet, that word timed bribery seems to fit in most cases of being re-elected over and over again when it is quite clear the people of those states can't stand their Senators! Hum...

Let a common citizen run for Senate and when their 6 years is up, that's it! No More!

We are asking if you feel the same way as we do. If so, then please sign our petition to introduce a new bill to place LIMIT the NUMBER of TERMS for all State and US Senators and Congressman and woman. Help us try and stop the run of the muck Senators from being allowed to keep re running for election of their same seats. Enough already!

Please sign only one time and by all means tell your friends and family about this petition!

Thank you for signatures and most of all your voice!
