OBJECTION TO AMENDMENTS OF PAK SHEK KOK (EAST) OUTLINE ZONING Need Science Park Phase 4 Development
Town Planning Board has announced the AMENDMENTS TO APPROVED PAK SHEK KOK (EAST) OUTLINE ZONING PLAN NO. S/PSK/11 during in March. The main amendments include: Rezoning of a site partly bounded by Fo Yin Road, Chong San Road and Pok Yin Road from annotated 'Science Park' to 'Residential Uses' .
Now the government's cutting the planned space in Science Park is not a supportive action to local technology development. As Town Planning Board is going to organize a public meeting in the coming month, we would like to seek your support and views about the issue.

The government is ignoring our long-term tech potential for short-term residential gains. We are actively refining our submission to the Town Planning Board to challenge this shift.

The momentum is building fast. Science Park needs to grow instead of shrinking into housing.
Objection! now people know that innovation and technology development will be the engine for Hong Kong economy, so we need to keep this land (near HK Science Park) for R&D/Innovation industry because it's a matter of economies of agglomeration.

We strongly object to change the usage of the concerned land from Science development to residential use, because this will hinder the science, technology and IT development in HK. Besides, there is no strong need to build low rise and luxury housing estate in that area to resolve the housing problem in HK.

I object government's plan in this regard, because my company is growing, just like other tech business in Hong Kong. We need room and space for future growth needs.

We need more resources for Technology more then luxuary flats, it is for Hong Kong's Long Term developmenets. I would like it to be a data center rather then luxary flats. If Hong Kong is still develop on flats, how can we complete with Singapore? HK should follow or reference singapore's success.
