| 353 | Paul | Isham | FL | US | I am particularly interested in preserving jobs in the IT space. I believe that after years of "offshoring" because it was cheaper & could leverage a follow-th-sun business style, there is a glut of very talented US born IT consulting individuals that would work at competitive rates, but would avoid the rampant incident involving 1) poor communications/ business acumen; 2) IT security concerns and 3) loss of IT project control & visibility. I would like to collaborate with folks that share the same philosophy. |

| 356 | Robin | Olson | FL | US | I live in south Florida, and I see American jobs being taken by non-national workers in all industries here. Especially the construction industry. Non-nationals are no longer working in the labor sector and filling jobs that supposedly no american citizen wants. Here they are heavy equipment operators, journeyman, superintendents, business owners and even President of the Board of Directors. There are businesses here where the labor force is over 90% black or latino. These foreign owned companies are frequently the winning contractor on Federal and State funded projects. Reverse discimination is a reality in Southern Florida. I am the only employee within the company I work for where English is my first language. I want to know when we are going to take back our country and quit renewing all the work Visas we so readily handed out to every foreigner who came across our borders. They have drove down wages, compromised work standards, as well as general business ethics. We need to take a stand against the practice of recruiting and hiring foreign workers and illegal immigrants before it is too late. |
