To be such a personality in the public view really takes its toll.I met Marie face to face and alone in a Smiths food store. I was looking for ham or was it cheese. She made a recommendation and I followed it. I knew at the time who it was, but I didn't let on about it. I respected her right of privacy even though she was forthright and thoughtful. She was a breath of fresh air. Being a non Mormon, I was badly treated by her bretheren because I didn't want to belong to a religion I didn't believe in.This is an individual right and I was happy that Marie didn't start talking about religion. The why of it was because as herself, she emulated all that was good and kind. Religion had nothing to do with my positive impression of the young lady. I fervently wish for her to have a happy life, and that her children won't bring her any sorrow.She is a fine person! |

I think that they deserve a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because even though the road has been bumpy at times, the Osmonds have had wonderful music and television careers, (They've been performing since the 50's on screen and off, on stage and off.) and they never compromised for their fame. Not many musicians have been as popular for as long as the Osmonds
have been. Those are huge reasons why I am a fan. |
