Osmonds Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Being a fan of the Osmonds, I think it's only fair to say that I think they deserve a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame. The family has been in the business since the early 60's when they guest starred on the Andy Williams show. They were an instant hit and ended up becoming regulars. In the 70's they became one of the biggest teen idols selling millions of records all over the world and performed to sell out concerts. They've done everything from guest starring on variety shows to performing for the Queen of England to owning their own TV studio. The Osmond brothers had success directing and producing T.V shows including their own, i.e., Donny & Marie Variety show which ran for 4 seasons in the 70's and Donny & Marie where the executive producers on the Donny & Marie Talk Show in the 90's. Jimmy became a successful business man and bought a theater in Branson Mo. Here the Osmond Brothers were voted the top performing group a few years in a row. Marie had her own syndicated radio show that ran for a while and is a successful business woman selling her own porcelain dolls. Donny performed in the long running stage show of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. He recently hit the charts again with his hit single Breeze on By. All of the brothers are still performing today with the exception of Alan who had to quit due to MS. But still remains active by working on the Osmonds Official website at www.osmond.com and has started his own ISP service. In 2003 the family received their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They've accomplished so much and have been around for almost 50 years! How many other performers can say that?
