Rod | i cant understand all the whining and bitching about front plates, come on people there are more important things to worry about than front plates, get a life. if your so unhappy move somewhere else, no one is making you stay here. the front plate has absolutely nothing to do with aerodynamics either, unless you were driving at such a high rate of speed that the aerodynamics would even matter. also how do you people think there would be a cost saving, since we pay for the cost of plates in our registration fee, they would have to reduce the fee by the cost of the second plate, so there would be no saving it would be the same. Example it costs $5.00 for two plates, the registration fee has that included, but if you only provide one plate they would have to drop the fee by $2.50, since not doing so would be fraud. The motorists might save a couple bucks, but not the Government.

Anonymous | There is no need for a front mount license plate, lets get rid of it and join the other provinces and territories.
Anonymous | I agree. Why does Ontario always take so long to recognize how unnecessary this is, when other provinces have already gone through this learning cycle for us?
Clark Oake | I strongly believe the law concerning front-mounted license plates shoud be abolished and am confused as to why Ontario even has a law such as this when most other provinces and territories in Canada do not support it.

Sreekant Subramanian | I hate the front license plate. Makes cars look uglier and costs more. Plus if everyone were to not have it, then we would save on gas.

Slake | Please remove this silly law. Let us enjoy our vehicles that we invest in, and not smother them with unneeded plates. It will strengthen dynamics and decrease gas consumption.

Anonymous | Front license plates provide almost nothing in exchange for their production costs seeing as they are rarely used to identify vehicles in comparison to rear mounted plates.
Ahmed El Alfy | There is no reason for them to make it a law for front license plates. They are never used to identify a car nor do they protect anyone or anything.
David Yip | I firmly believe that health care, education, and infrastructure for Ontarians are all better uses for the money that is currently spent on front licence plates, and ask that this law be repealed.
