| 708 | Mark Brill | I wish I could say I was surprised.
I really wish I could. But then, I have to wish, really, that this racist dominating culture wasn't so underhanded, lying, dishonest, sleazy, and even, in its stupidity, self-destructive on top of being homicidally abusive.
Its days are numbered, but what it brings down with it, oh, I mourn for what & whom else it destroys in its 500-year-long suicide. |
| 709 | Scott Murray | I just don't see how anyone in their right mind could side with the Guinness Book of World Records (GBWR) on this situation. Cults are things like the Peoples Temple, and the Branch Davidians, not progressive and forward thinking organizations like MOVE. Further, why would the GBWR take the word of an organization whose main headquarters isn't even located in the states? I realize that the GBWR may be printed and/or have its international headquarters located in the UK. This still doesn't answer the question, however.
MOVE isn't trying to go down in the GBWR. Being attacked by the sadistic, heartless, bourgeois machine isn't anything to be proud of, especially for those who had immediate friends and family die in the resulting explosion and shootings.
This misinformation needs to be immediately removed, along with no less than an official apology from the appropriate branch of the GBWR. |

| 722 | Stephon Boatwright | The "mass suicide" title is absurd. This was an obvious murder where life was forcibly taken from the occupants of the MOVE organization. Who ever created the "Mass suicide" dubbed need to conduct research on the event. |
| 723 | Sage Magdalene | The misrepresentation of MOVE in the Guinness Book of World Records is unconscionable. It is a continuation of the injustice against MOVE and the values they represent.
The cult label needs to be removed, the book needs be edited to represent truth, and a public apology needs to be made for the disgraceful way this group has been treated. |

| 727 | Darin Friesen | My jaw dropped when i came across this. I cannot believe the PPD can bomb an organization like this then claim it was a suicide and get off scott free. You hear of things like that happening under dictatorship rule in third world countries, but in the "land of the free"? |

| 739 | Ian Romansky | Beware, the tide's a'rising
in the city of brotherly love.
The blood red lights were a'flashin
as the cellars rose up in a flood.
And as they dragged you from the depths of mud, they beat you while you were down.
And then they tossed you in jail for a hundred years:
save a city, burn it down.
And that's what they said
as they tore your homes
to the ground. |

| 742 | Michelle Gross | Blaming the victims for this vicious attack by police is the ultimate outrage, and allows police to escape all responsibility for their actions. Under no circumstances should it be ever be acceptable for a government agency to bomb a neighborhood and slaughter people and then have it referred to as "mass suicide" by a popular culture outlet such as the Guinness Book of World Records. By promoting such a ridiculous and harmful notion, GBWR shows itself to be little more than a dupe for government forcess seeking to cover their own culpability. |
| 743 | Rico Washington | Through the documentary, I have learned that the fate of the MOVE organization was the result of faults on both sides. However, I feel that NO U.S. citizen should be subject to the treatment as the MOVE organization has. In a country looked upon by the international community as the emblem of the democratic state, there is no reason why any group of its citizens should ever be treated as terrorists. Especially when they only wish to live their lives according to their own doctrines. |
