Anonymous | This is ridiculous. What had any Muslim ever done to that employee to deserve that? The racism towards these kind, peace-loving and productive members of our community is what's intolerable, not Muslims.
Anonymous | The least FAU can do is to confirm stated policy and condemn this type of act.

Anonymous | Shame on you, Mr. Brogan
Uzma Aijaz | I believe the employee should be reprimanded for her actions. An official apology should be presented to the young lady who was the object of this heinous act.

| 322 | Salman Ravala | As an alumni, I am very sad at the failure of the FAU administration regarding this issue.
I hope that the school can resolve this matter expeditiously and to the satisfaction of the victim |

Cyra Gish | I think it's completely irresponsible and unprofessional of FAU, an institution of higher learning, to not only condemn this racist behavior, but to also punish it. There is absolutely no excuse for this FAU employee's behavior and for the lack of FAU's concern. This is not only bad for all the international and national diverse students' safety, it also harms FAU's image and might hurts it's business in the future.
Cyra Gish | I think it's completely irresponsible and unprofessional of FAU, an institution of higher learning, to remain inactive on this serious issue. Actions to not only condemn this racist behavior, but to also punish it should be taken by the university. | 326 | Gene Ouellette | I personally would not hesitate to issue such a policy statement that asks only civility and common respect for one another and to condemn all such boorish behavior by FAU employees and students on our campuses.

Lindsay Richardson | What an atrosity....how can a supposedly educated person behave this way? And even worse, how can FAU ignore it?
Kristopher Lalji | This was a disgusting act of racial intolerance by Daneil Pipes' following. Though im not a devout muslim, half of my family is, and I take great offense to the actions done.
ihab Al-dammagh | I hope that president Brogan Respond to the situation in a very civil manner that will preserve FAU diversity.

Susan Mirza | I commend the muslim lady who did not press charges, however the university should have made a clear decision on their employee. If it were a muslim employee doing this to another protestor they would be fired and called a terrorists right. The same goes for the FAU employee she should be held accountable for her actions, as a potential FAU student and a muslim woman i feel that the Administrators could care less about equal rights and as of now i reserve not to Attend FAU in the near future as a protest against their NON EQUAL RIGHTS

Anonymous | A thorough investigation should've been done to determine whether or not the actions of the employee were indeed intentional,self-defense, or simply from talking. If indeed intentional, this type of behavior should not be tolerated, let alone (silently) condoned, thereby setting a precedent to those who preach intolerance that it is of no significant consequence to spit at Muslim as they are "all terrorists and probably deserve it anyway" which seems to be the underlying motive of the employee. The fact that the administration has yet to address the incident indicates that perhaps FAU is either not a tolerant place as a school for the public or the administration's chooses to remain silent due to the generosity of the victim for not pressing charges. I'm fairly certain that if charges were pressed against the employee, a different outcome would've resulted. Press charges, then see what happens, even if the employee is exonerated.
