| 4 | O. Bruce Jones | As a life long Republican and a WWII veteran I am ashamed and fearful to see and hear such evil and dangerous practices. It is a cancer on our system and if allowed to continue and succeed threatens the security of our country. Those that continue these tactics must be held accountable for all acts that harms our domestic tranquillity |

| 7 | Sealo Edger | I hope that Obama is elected, not just because of his policies, but because if he is elected, he will prove to everyone that anyone of any race can make great leaders, and Americans will be more trusting of other races, which will be a big step foreward for not just America, but the whole world. |

| 11 | Anonymous | I find it very tragic that there are people who are still trying to divide people based on arbitrary attributes, and project all manner of hate and prejudice on those who they hate and prejudge. Enough. No more!
Do not cut off one more life with this irresponsible rhetoric! I will personally hold you morally accountable for any attempts on the lives of the Obamas, the Bidens, or the American people that arise because of this rhetoric.
Should there be a terrorist attack on American soil between the election results and the inauguration, I will hold McCain, Palin and some republicans to be morally responsible for attracting or perpetrating the attack with this divisive and horrifically misguided speech. |
| 12 | jascinth williams | Dear Senior Senator McCain, please can you and your running mate desist the inflammatory rhetoric coming from your camp. The world is watching in horror at this unfolding spectacle. |

| 15 | Jan Sherer | It is time for the public and the MSM to grow up. If we heard about the issues as much as we heard about these fear tactics, looks, gestures, speaking/not speaking, ad nauseum, we would all be prepared to decide. Enough! Grow up! |
| 16 | Susan Howell | I think Palin & McLame should ALREADY BE CHARGED with incitement. |
| 17 | Elaine Jacobi | Senator McCain and Governor Palin, as an American, I am appalled by the disloyal acts you have committed during a time of war. As a former Republican, I am alarmed by your breach of allegiance to the common good. As a Christian, I rebuke you for your insidious tactics and treacherous rhetoric that has incited and condoned destructive remarks from your base. As a human being, I admonish you to repent and start healing the seeds of hatred, fear and unrest your campaign and followers have sown into the minds and hearts of Americans and people around the world at a time when more than ever we need intelligent, valiant leadership. |
