| 551 | Anne | The McCain/Palin campaign is so far removed from honesty, honor or decency. It is the most vicious dishonest and dishonorable campaign I have ever seen since I cast my first Republican vote for Eisenhower in 1956. What has happened to American values? Shame, shame, shame! |

| 556 | Kristina Fethke Girardi | -That I don“t care whether or not Senator Barack Hussein Obama is a Christian or a Martian.
It is irrelevant to me.
What is not irrelevant is that the GOP VP candidate willing and knowingly inspires and consents for these heinous things to be yelled at her rallies and does not bat an eyelash.
It should be obligatory that all campaign speeches begin with the warning on the part of the speaker that "Any and all threatening or derogatory comments manifest in the crowd will be cause for me to abandon the stage immediately and permanently and ever attempt will be made to identify and prosecute those who utter them."
There should also be people in charge of detecting these occurrences and communicating them to the speaker.
Thank you |

Your continued denial and inaction puts our country even further at risk. This is not the kind of change that our country needs. |

| 571 | Brian Nathanson | The fear culture being promoted by the media and egged on by Senator McCain and Governor Palin is despicable. So much for your honor Mr. Senator. Stoking long held racial hatred is a debased and reactionary move to a ticket that is fighting for its life. Shame on you. |

| 573 | LesleyM | This HATE campaign MUST stop immediately. People are abandoning the republican in droves for this election... myself included. After these hatefilled, vicious attacks aimed at Barack Obama... I may never return to the republican party. IF these attacks are indicative of what it means to be a republican, I want absolutely NO part ot it.
The actions of John McCain in his effort to win this election by speading and inciting fear and hate towards Barack Obama are beyond reprehensible. I will proudly cast my vote for Barack Obama. The fact that McCain insists on using this hate and incendiary tactic only serves to make me and others dig our heels in harder in our support of Barack Obama.
McCain has lost any shred of respect that I ever had for him by resorting to these attacks. This is not how a "hero" should conduct himself in any given situation. Thank God it seems that most Americans see you for the person that you are Mr.McCain... a bitter, angry, desperate man who is watching his dream of being President slip from his grasp. You have no one, other than yourself, to blame Mr. McCain.
May God have mercy on your soul. |

| 587 | Danielle Gembala | America needs to move forward, not backward. Incitement to violence is wrong, and the Republican party needs to take responsibility for their actions. |
| 588 | William Murphy | How can we say we live in the greatest nation of the world when we show such terrible behavior. We all want our individual parties to win. However the wonderful part of the United States is that we always have peaceful transfers of power. To incite the opposite completely invalidates the ideals of the framers. |
