Brandon Hollimon | I am a Obama volunteer and I would like sen. Webb to assist sen. Obama in taking it to mcsame and the other republican neo-cons this coming november. Best of luck well all be working with you in getting elected -Obama/Webb 08
| 405 | mike dalton | Are you out of your fucking mind?
obama is a socialist, at best...wants to take away all guns...big government is "answer" to all problems according to him. I'm scots-Irish ex-military business owner taxpayer. obama is NOT the answer! what kind of idiot thought of Webb as vp? |
barry Herrero | Obama Webb is the winning ticket!
Barbrella Goode | The best ticket.
Mike Gropman | I believe that Webb helps Obama on the defense and National Security Issues. Webb can also help in bring the rank and file union members to vote for Obama Webb has sponsered legisation to help union members.
Dann Dunn |
Nicholas Burrell | Jim Webb is the best choice for running mate, he will balance the ticket, save the South.
| 411 | Jerry Carter | Barack Obama and Jim Webb? African Americans and Scots-Irish? Sounds like just the ticket to us!
Me too! |
Robert Campbell |
Jim Gray | Webb is the best choice to balance and compliment the Obama ticket. I've greatly enjoyed A Time to Fight, and have great admiration for Webb as an American exemplar.
Theodore M Fox | Webb For VEEP OR no vote
Tom Hubbard |
Janis Fitzsimmons |
Byron Gibson | Obama couldn't ask for a finer person and more complementary running mate.
Justin Fleenor | Obama-Webb 2008!
John D Besley | A fine combination to lead America out of the morass of the last 8 years.
Julian Finelli | I cannot imagine two men more fit to bring this country out of its darkest hour than Barack Obama and Jim Webb.
A. Long | Jim Webb for VP!
Travis Fick |
Anonymous | Webb best choice. Hillary no way.
Laura Sanchez | Jim Webb 4VP!

John Koutras | This is the true dream ticket. It would help undo the class warfare type picture that Hillary has created about Obama, with the "elitist" tag. Now that Obama has won, it is time to start to undo the damage that Hillary has done with her divisive tactics (as McCain carries the baton for her). Jim Webb would make an excellent VP, on his merits.
Kip Lewis | Obama needs an older, white, male with extensive military & national security experience to defeat John McCain. Please choose Jim Webb!!!
Anonymous | Jim Webb is the perfect VP, but only if he pulls a Ron Insana and ditches the toupee.
kato | Go Obama/Webb 08, winning team
Richard Eaton | I vote.
Sue Robbins | Now this is a dream ticket!
Barbara Jordan | Obama-Webb would deflate the Republican argument that Barack Obama does not have enough military knowledge to be Commander in Chief.
Roger Davidson | Hillary's speech Tuesday night increases Obama's need for a populist while making her the wrong answer, ala "If he can't stand up to the Clintons, how will he stand up to Iran, Russia, etc." (And the status quo interests in the US).

Anonymous | Senator Webb (similar to Barack Obama) is one of the most intellectually gifted public figures in America today. He speaks with authority and conviction, and when he speaks people listen. An Obama/Webb ticket is the worst nightmare for the McCain campaign.
susan turner | How is this being broadcast to the Obama group?
Melissa McCulloch | I supported JIm Webb early in the VA democratic primary for senate (we even held a BBQ for him). I think he is a stellar candidate and has been a great senator for Virginia. He would be a great help to Barack Obama (as Obama was a help to him in the senate race) in VA, PA, OH, WV, NH, and even places like NC and GA. He is a much stronger candidate than Ms. Clinton, who I think would be a handicap in states like Virginia. Fortunately, VA has a democratic governor who I think would be able to fill Jim's seat with another Dem.

| 448 | Anonymous | And a BIG NO for Senator Clinton
I think Jim Webb is a good fit for Sen. Obama -
CHANGE! |
Jeremy Cline | The strongest VP with name recognition, military service, experienced as a former Republican, and can swing a RED state.
