| 451 | nira horeis | unbeatable pair |
| 452 | Erik | Webb will deflate the ONLY strategy left against Obama: to paint him as a radical, unpatriotic, liberal. Obama NEEDS Webb in this election. Also, two artists, writers, and thinkers on the ticket is so unique. |

| 454 | Jeff Burke | I believe that Jim Webb brings several excellent qualities that perfectly compliment an Obama Ticket. I believe that he would be loyal, would not outshine Obama, and would provide the necessary military and executive experience. Additionally, they are both great authors and opposed the war from the start. |

| 456 | Anonymous | Obama/Webb This ticket wins it in November!!! |
| 457 | Mike Eason | Obama/Webb '08 !!!!!!!
Now thats change we can definitely believe in!! |
| 458 | Anthony Kourtakis | semper fi |
| 459 | Laura Christine Fitzsimmons | Obama/Webb in '08.
THAT is the "Dream Ticket," in my opinion. Barack Obama has had my vote since his speech at the last Democratic National Convention; and Webb had me the moment I saw him holding his son's combat boots. Combine these two charismatic, highly intelligent men, who come from such different backgrounds yet who are both striving to change the country in ways that are beneficial to ALL Americans regardless of yearly income or race, and I think you have something unbeatable.
My own father, a retired US Army LtC and decorated Viet Nam veteran, told me months ago, after McCain became the Republican nominee, that he was voting for Obama. He's furious about the war and overall is tired of the way his party has been doing things - he's been a Republican all his life - and is ready for a change.
I don't think my dad is alone, either, I think having Webb on the ticket with Obama would help bring more of the disgruntled military, both retired and active duty, to the polls in November. |
| 460 | Stephen B. Reed | |
| 461 | Karl Berner | Webb has the intangibles to complement Obama, the mettle to devalue Republican "might", the passion to further inspire the generation and the knowledge of the military, foreign relations AND the economy. Obama/Webb '08! |
| 462 | Josh (VET) Redmond | Senator Obama needs the "Kick Ass" voters of this country. Sen. Webb is a working class hero and would be the correct balance to the Obama Ticket. He supports the second amendment, and is a Hero of the Vietnam War. |

| 470 | Pamela Popken-Harris | We think this would be a fabulous choice for VP with his record of service and gave a very powerful democratic rebuttal to the state of the nation. |
| 471 | Christina Schuch | I have been a supporter of Senator Webb, since he ran his campaign against George Allen Jr.
With him on the ticket, I firmly believe they will blow McCain out of the water.I feel that Senator Webb will bring in voters that might not otherwise vote for the Democrats in 08.
OBAMA/WEBB is a killer team! |
| 472 | Anonymous | Anyone but Hillary! |
| 473 | Dennis Fitzsimmons | Best man for job. Don't pick the loser. She % wild Bill will over shadow Obama. |
| 474 | Nathan Cook | Yes, Jim Webb would be the absolutely perfect choice for VP. |
| 475 | Nathan Cook | Yes, Jim Webb would be the absolutely perfect choice for VP. |
| 476 | A.F. Cook | Always supported this ticket. Webb is an ideal counterbalance to Obama -- he would be a great, and active -- VP. My website, www.redzonepolitics.com, has interview w/ VA voters of all political stripes at Obama rallies. Va is the bellwether state of 2008. Watch what it looks like to see a red state turn purple. Mark Warner, Tim Kaine and Jim Webb are setting the new standard for what the Dem Party represents -- and Obama is part of that new standard. The new Dem Party will be made with common-sense Indeps, Repubs and truly progressive Dems (not lefties, but goodies). |
| 477 | Dan Koch | I support Jim Webb as a running mate for Barack Obama in the upcoming presidential election.
Webb appears to bring to the table a rich and varied background, coming from a blue-collar, working class Southern background, which presents a balanced totality on the ticket.
In his writing and speeches, Webb projects a grounded sense of contemporary American reality that gives me, personally, the confidence that decisions at the highest level would be by a person that has a lively consciousness of the many dimensions of those decisions. And finally, I hope that Webb's apparent strengths would show our country a way back to the real United States of America, an America that took a little wrong turn some years ago and needs to get back on the right path. |
| 478 | George Lewis | |
| 479 | Ben | Obama/Webb= GOP's worst nightmare |
| 480 | Gabriel McVey | |
| 481 | leslie howe | That ticket would get my vote |
| 482 | Chap Petersen | |
| 483 | ethan kirisits | |
| 484 | Stephen Martin | |
| 485 | Anonymous | I think Webb would be a great help as another change agent. His miltiary background, his opposition to the Iraq war and to Bush, his support of veterans benefits that McCain opposed, would all help Obama to crush McCain November 1. |
| 486 | John F. Hall | Read his books |
| 487 | Casey Lessard | I am a 40 year old white male, Army veteran and lifelong Republican. I can guarantee you that the Obama-Webb ticket will get my vote and the votes of my six brothers. This ticket will make "Obama Republicans" 28 years after the "Reagan Democrats". These two can change America. |
| 488 | Jon D Lucore | I just finished Senator Webbs book: A Time to Fight, and I cannot think of a better prospect for VP with President Obama than this. We need his fundamental understanding of where the country is headed which complements Senator Obama very well. |
| 489 | Anonymous | Webb is the perfect VP for our perfect Candidate.
Together they should produce a thrilling landslide victory, and steer the country on a wise course for the future. |
| 490 | Anonymous | Jim Webb might be a bit of a loose cannon, and he has held some unbecoming opinions in the past, but... I think that's alright. Because he's honest and forthright and tough. In the end, his honesty will win out. Obama and he can play the good cop - bad cop routine. And, Obama can seem even the more reasonable explaining away any of Webb's potential gaffs... as long as they are not damaging to their own constituency (like woman, for instance). Webb would be a bulldog guarding the cause, he would bring in the working class and military vote, Virginia, and... the Republicans will be hapless against this team. |
| 491 | Jonathan | WEBB FOR VP!!! |
| 492 | KEVIN ADKINS | |
| 493 | David I Wynne | |
| 494 | David Parker | |
| 495 | Ben Jacobs | |
| 496 | Andrew Koch | |

| 498 | Bonnie Reimels | I don't think anyone could beat them. |
| 499 | Tim Kase | |
| 500 | Chase | Are you kidding??? HELL YEAH! This would be the ultimate ticket. They'd win, for sure. |
