| 802 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I have just returned from my twelth visit to Aruba and have observed the growth over the years. The most recent being the RIU...waaay over the top. The island is not big enough to support additional building. I constantly worry about the islands ability to handle consumers waste, especially those who are inconsiderate! |

| 809 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Aruba is built up enough...please stop building or you will become just another overcrowded resort desitination and will lose your best customers! |
| 810 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Stop now! It is getting too crowded. They have to import workers for help. Not as safe as it used to be. The airport is a zoo on Saturdays now. The island is ill-equipt for more people. When Americans stop coming because it turns into Jamacia Or the Dominic and it's gated hotels it will be too late. |
| 811 | Jessica | Curie | Thank you for doing this! |
| 812 | Helena | Rovella | My husband and I have been returning to Aruba for many years.
However, the island is no longer what it was - the government is allowing hotel / timeshare building to continue unchecked and this greed is ruining the island.
We're not sure if we will return after our last trip this year. |

| 815 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I own a house in Aruba. There are already too many large hotels and condominium developments that infringe on the natural resources of the island. A few powerful Arubans are selling the island to further their own wealth, and it will result in a decline in the standard of living for the Aruban people. Meanwhile, they will have taken their money and disappeared. |

| 824 | Carol | Shepherd | In addition to two timeshares, we own property in Malmok and spend at least 12 weeks a year on the island. We are alarmed by the building boom. |
| 825 | Leonardy | Morales | The balance is been broken !!

| 827 | Pascal | Regien | WHERE IS THE BEACH? |

They destroyeing theire own Island for some Speculants. The arubians and the nature are the loosers of this plan, done by arubians! |

| 832 | Patricia | Auer | The island of Aruba is being over developed and ruined. |
| 833 | Anonymous | Anonymous | |
| 834 | Anonymous | Anonymous | The building is out of hand and the all inclusive resorts are hurting the fabulous restaurant businessthe island has been recognized for. Progress is great - when it is handled responsibly |
| 835 | Anonymous | Anonymous | It was so nice 20 years ago, we can never go back that far, but it is getting out of hand |

| 837 | Lucia M. | Ras | No more "development" which equals destruction of our nature |
| 838 | richard | fame | aruba needs to be saved we must preserve whats left on this planet |
| 839 | Maureen | Stearn | I have owned in Aruba for over 10 years and been going to Aruba for close to 15 years and believe that if the construction continues at the rate it is going, Aruba will not only lose its luster but will also loose the return vistiors as they will seek out other places that do not remind them of the rat race back home. All new hotels open up many new problem areas as stated by many visitors, for one the local intrastructure cannot handle the current problems of traffic; filling jobs at the local resorts requiring people to be brought in from surrounding islands to fill these jobs which bring with it crime; housing issues and transportation issues. With a rise in crime, brings a need for increase in police; where does it end and who pays for all of this? The tourists? Keep increasing the price of things on the island will only drive them away. Eventually, the government will realize that new development is not necessarily the answer, they should focus on the current state of affairs and improve upon them. |

| 841 | Sean | Lockhard | Aruba is is already too crowded and traffic is crazy !
Even the beaches are being invaded by chikee huts, palapas, massage parlors and restaurants. Just bulldozer them off the beach into the hotel lots. Cars park on pavements and people have to walk in the middle of the street, Police passes by but zero action. After all these years we have to start looking for a more tranquile Island somewhere in the Caribbean. We thought maybe Bonaire, but the construction craze is starting overthere too. |
| 842 | Dennis | Singh | Too many hotels. |
| 843 | patti | plante | |
| 844 | Freind of Natalee | Holloway | Don't worry about hotels! Just take Joran Van Der Sloot to trial. |
| 845 | PATRICIA | HEWITT | I love it here, hope it doesn't build anymore and make it into a noisy, busy over crowded island. |
| 846 | Anonymous | Anonymous | NO to development. This tiny island is developed enough. |
| 847 | Albert | Monna | |
| 848 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I am an Aruban and I love my sweet island. But now everybody wants to build and build and we have too many foreigners living on this island and they also wants to build, now that there is no more room. We have enough hotels for all the tourists that likes us as vacation island but we also have to provide those tourists nature and peace and a quality vacation! Right we need progress but we need our nature too. Please help keep it in balance! |
