702 AlvaroRoblesYour organization is absolutly right. My family and I were in Aruba this past April and we could not believe how crowded the island has become. Enough with the consruction of hotels. The area of Arashi should be preserved the way it is.
703 AnonymousAnonymousKeep Aruba a wonderful, quaint place to vacation.

706 AnonymousAnonymousLet the Arubans decide for themselves if they want to build. The people complaining on this petition are selfish by putting their wants over the wants or needs of the Arubans

710 MarjolijnJanssenkeep aruba clean and don't overbuild this beatyfull island!!!
711 MargaretCarewHow can we say we Aruba lovers & Arubans help maintain a healthy, environmentally sound island if the large corporations are allowed to destroy it for monetary profit??!! It is my understanding that Aruba has been economically stable, with little unemployment, but I believe that too much additional hotel/resort development will ruin the charm and allure of this wonderous island and its people. PLEASE, no more eyesores and garish monoliths like the Riu!

714 MarellaFransI hope the government people gets this too. and also the Real Estate Companies. For them its money, money , money. This is not only for the Arashi area, but for the whole Island "ARUBA".
715 Randyvon KriegenberghEnough is Enough... What about the nature, that's also a part of Aruba. We even don't have enough people to work in a Hotel... So I say ..... NO NO NO

723 AnonymousAnonymousI have heard many frequent visitors to Aruba from the US saying that Aruba is becoming over built and that is it becoming an undesireable place to visit. The whole idea in going to an island is to go somewhere quiet and relaxing. Why would someone want to go to an Island competely full of construction and somewhere that resembles what they are trying to get away from? Thank you!

728 JulieWrayWhy does there have to be an over-building of hotels, etc? Aruba is becoming an afterthought for windsurfers. Hotels blocking the offshore winds makes windsurfers reconsider going to Aruba for vacation. How unfortunate. Maybe it's time to start going to Bonaire or Maui instead. Besides the massive numbers of hotels on Aruba, the prices are becoming outrageously steep for vacationers.

731 AnonymousAnonymousToo much building going on. We don't need another hotel!!!!!
732 AnonymousAnonymousKeep Aruba beautiful. The island will lose it's charm if it is overdeveloped.
733 DerekZisserAs a 15 year visitor to the island we LOVE IT, but the "americanization" and mass development is terrible. The area around the high rises is unbearable, and Oranjestad has gone from quaint to packed and annoying.

738 gradyadamsPlease don't destroy the beaches of aruba with more highrise or lowrise. If this continues it will ruin the whole reason for our family coming to aruba.

741 MarieGeermanMarried with a local! Lived in Aruba for 10 years and return each year to visit family and friends...spending our Beach days at Arashi (our favorite spot) So Sad to hear they are trying to build! There are TOO many Hotels already Where will the locals swim without Piles of tourists, chairs, watersports ect.... The island is being destroyed by Greed! Leave Arashi for ARUBA!
742 AnonymousAnonymousAruba is beautiful and I go there because it is so undeveloped. Please do not rape the land like so many other islands have done!!!

748 shawnmcclearyPlease keep this part of Aruba pristine as it is now. building a hotel in that area is going to really ruin the ambience and beauty of this part of the isand.
749 AnonymousAnonymousenough already. more building is going to ruin a beautiful island. then we might as well go to Jamaica or St. Thomas.
