| 1703 | cheryl | krause | TX | US | i have tried to no avail to get arlington tx to get rid of the noise on my street. |

| 1705 | Jewel | Fannin | KY | US | HONESTLY I AM SICK OF ALL THE NOISE FROM THESE CARS AND THAT COME IN OUT OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD VISITING OUR NEIGHBORS ALL NIGHT LONG, I CALL THEM "DRUG RUNS" WE NEED A HELP HERE IN PIKEVILLE, KY. I CAN'T SLEEP AT NIGHT WHICH IS WHAT MOST NORMAL NON DRUG USING PEOPLE DO, MY NEIGHBORS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING. |
| 1706 | Anonymous | Anonymous | CA | US | Every day I am bombarded with cars equipped with boom boxes that are so loud it shakes my entire apartment shake. It is extremely annoying!
These inconsiderate idiots are destroying the peace we once had in our neighborhoods and it needs to stop.
Someone had better start doing their jobs instead of just sitting there collecting their pay checks. This country is falling apart fast with a turned blind eye our politicians see to be plagued with! |
| 1707 | Darryl | Cooke | | CA | Totally agree with banning these terrible systems. |
| 1708 | Anonymous | Anonymous | OR | US | I am tired of the intrusion into my yard & home of loud noise generated by megabass sound systems & extremely loud exhaust systems (on Harleys & other motor vehicles). I would like to see the both the sound & exhaust systems banned & authorization of immediate confiscation of either or both at first use. I am tired of the right of myself & others to peaceful & quiet enjoyment of property & homes be violated by people behaving so destructively & selfishly. If anyone wonders why people don't get more exercise, all they have to do is go outside & listen--it's punishment to be walking on a sidewalk when one of those vehicles goes by. And they seem to go by more & more often. |
| 1709 | doug | holmes | FL | US | This is long overdue. |
| 1710 | Debbie | Hicks | FL | US | |
| 1711 | James | Benson | CA | US | This bass noise is so loud it has hurt my ears and made me sick in side my own house.
What right do these morally retared
people have to play their music inside my house.
this is noise polution
and lowers the quality of life.
Take away the cars!!!
Crush them! |
| 1712 | Amy | anonymous | FL | US | Some of you express sympathy for these sociopathic audio terrorists. Save it! The truth is, they get enourmous pleasure from torturing us all and getting away with it. Edmund Burke's famous quote says, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." We have done nothing about insidious problem for far too long. |
| 1713 | Phillip | Isaacson | NE | US | I'm just so fed up I hope something can be done before I can't control myself any more. |
| 1714 | J.D. | O'Connor | CA | US | Please... Please do this. Our rights have been subverted and turned against us, as so much has been turned against us. Do the right thing. Do it NOW. |
| 1715 | Anonymous | Anonymous | LA | US | I hope my signature helps. This noise is very annoying. I have polio and the everyday noise from these boom cars are against my health in all ways. |
| 1716 | Anonymous | Anonymous | VA | US | Boom cars are a thorough public nuisance. They cannot be defended on the premise of listening to music because it is extremely rare that anything resembling music comes out of these pollutants---it is merely pounding, thundering bass for the pure sake of noise. They mirror the attitudes and demeanors of their owners---obnoxious, inconsiderate, in-your-face-militant, and crassly disrespectful. There is absolutely no defense for this garbage. |
| 1717 | Claralynne | Crank | VA | US | If I wanted to the crap coming out of another car's stero I would be riding in that car. It's obnoxious and extremely rude behaviour. |
| 1718 | Kendall | Crank | VA | US | How about a petition requiring effective mufflers on motorcycles. No straight pipes. |
| 1719 | Anonymous | Anonymous | CO | US | I live in an apartment complex across the street from a bunch of hispanics who love to serenade the neighborhood with intrusive (and usually vulgar) noise from their parked boom car. I am not talking about a little noise; I am talking about the stuff that you can hear (and feel) through your concrete walls when you have your headphones on. They don't care if they disturb the peace, whether it be at 6 in the morning or 12 at night. The seem to pride themselves in the act. They do it with impunity. I have called the cops countless times and all to no avail. I wonder if they know there is actually a statute on the books which makes such behavior illegal? Something had better be done soon. This will not be tolerated. |

| 1722 | Daniel | Lawhon | TN | US | Music & Religion: You don't want to hear mine, and I don't want to hear yours. If I blasted my country music as loud as your bass, you'd be just as irritated at me as I am you. |
| 1723 | Byron | Hubbard | AK | US | it hurts my ears and gets me irritated for several minutes each time i get bombarded with the noise. its technically against the law but enforcing it is tough. you are in fear of dealing with gangsta type mentality. |

| 1726 | Anonymous | Anonymous | CA | US | CA: You audio Terrorists have NO respect for those around you. Why do you feel homeowners should have to put up with your rattletraps? Go find a new hobby, maybe fly a kite on the freeway. |
| 1727 | Tim | Schultz | IN | US | My own brother is one of the trouble makers in this matter. I am about to call the cops on him, but I dought they will do anything. I have thousands of dollors of sensitive computer eqipment that is being ruined by the powerful viberations. He has NO respect for the neighborhood, my family, or his nice car MY parents bought for him. And guess what, he IS involved in many other crimanal activities such as underaged drinking and drug dealing/ possibly using. This deafining music need to stop. NOW! |
| 1728 | Anonymous | Anonymous | LA | US | ITS OUT OF CONTROL BAN THEM NOW |
| 1729 | Anonymous | Anonymous | WI | US | Here in the Fox Valley area of northern Wisconsin, I am absolutely appalled at the prevalence of extremely loud car stereos systems all across the area of Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah. Now granted, I don't mind a loud music from time to time but the real problem in my opinion is primarily the prevalence of cars, SUVs, and especially Hummers blaring wind-shakingly loud audio terrorism at deafening volumes. Almost every time these anti-social idiots drives by, almost all of it is gangsta rap with vulgar lyrics and excessively loud bass and absolutely no melody. It's especially sad how the gangsta mentality has turned my generation into the dumbest ever. I totally supports peoples' rights to happiness but the proliferation of extremely loud stereo equipment combined with increasingly disrespectful motorists has forced police all across the country to adopt harsher laws to deal with these people. Most of the motorists are mostly white, gangsta-wannabes who need a major kick to the ass to force them to realize how much they're infringing on the rights of others. Here in Appleton, there should be an ordinace against loud car stereos in residential neighborhoods between 10pm and 7am. It should slap a $150 fine for first time offenses, $450 fine for second-time offenses, and for the third $1000. If continued offenses continue with blaring such loud audio terrorism, the car should be confiscated and stereo equipment destroyed. It's no suprise that many of these outrageously lavish stereos are more expensive than the actual car itself. Auto manufacturers should also be required to limit how loud stereos can be turned up to to minimize the threat of hearing loss. As for the fines, that money can be collected to donate to schools or charities all across the area since they could use some extra cash in these precarious times. Maybe we should recruit residents fed up with these inconsiderate punk to use noise-detectors and deal with these people. I'm 25 and am in the age bracket these stereos are popular with but I find them deeply offensive like no other stimuli is. Even motorcycles, leafblowers, and construction equipment pale in comparison. |
| 1730 | Robert | Clayton | FL | US | Please stop this constant sonic harassment. |
| 1731 | Ginger | Pahl | TN | US | My once-peaceful neighborhood has been hijacked by thoughtless thugs who blast their insanely-loud stereos at ALL HOURS of the day and night. Metro Nashville Police cannot do anything about it. |
| 1732 | franz | weber | MN | US | The sad part about all that noise polution is this, Congress will pass a law that we, the victims of this noise, will have to pay for the ear damage these idiots get from listining to the crap they are listening to.
We should realy just expedite the ear damage by busting their eardrums whenever they drive by our houses. |

| 1735 | Anonymous | Anonymous | FL | US | I am all for this petition! I don't understand why the sale of the amplifiers cannot be outlawed? Amplified music is proven to be hazardous to your health, isn't that reason enough. And look at the people that always have the amplified music, they are young, ranging from teens to probably late 20's. I plan on buying stock in a hearing aid company. It'll certainly be worth alot in a few more years. |
| 1736 | Anonymous | Anonymous | PA | US | Please pass a federal noise ordinance regarding "boom" cars. My once quiet and peaceful neighborhood is now a denizen of loud bass by the massive amounts of wanna be gangsters and wiggers that deal drugs continously throughout my neighborhood without impunity or respect for any one else in the community. |
| 1737 | Anonymous | Anonymous | AZ | US | These people are a social disease. They fail to take other people into consideration. Please pass this legislation. |
| 1738 | Judy | Goldman | FL | US | This extremely offensive practice by thugs must stop now. Very heavy penalties for using these devices must be enacted and enforced -- now! |
| 1739 | Anonymous | Anonymous | CO | US | There would be no problem if they would just turn it down in neighborhoods. No respect. Complete ban! |
| 1740 | Pat | Kennedy | PA | US | Our little town of Bellefonte PA has no noise ordnance and is overrun with these cars and trucks. So many of the kids don't work so it goes on all day & all night. I'm desperate. |
| 1741 | Suzy | Otto | FL | US | It really is UNNECESSARY to have a vehicle that is so noisy. |

| 1745 | Anonymous | Anonymous | NV | US | I can't take it anymore. The ones around the apartment where I live are girls! Nasty, slutty, drug infested girls. It is pathetic. Almost all of us work shift work yet we never know when we will get a full nights/days rest. I am at my wit's end. HELP. |
| 1746 | Anonymous | Anonymous | WI | US | |
| 1747 | Anonymous | Anonymous | IN | US | I'd love to see these stereos disappear altogether. |
| 1748 | Ivana | Fahrt | CO | US | Who cares if the audio thugs go deaf. Too bad the boom boom booming doesn't stop their hearts. They have sure found a way to stick it to everyone without any consequence. Would love to stick their pointy heads in the center of a speaker and crank up some real music full blast. |
| 1749 | Jeff | Powers | MI | US | I have already took one guy to court over this issue on my old street that had many sick and elderly residents there. I won my case but it cost me alot of money. when more car boomers moved onto our street we moved to avoid the noise but it everywhere |
| 1750 | Tim | Brant | IN | US | I cannot sit quietly in my own family room because of these jerks. |
