801 VICTORY!!!......iNDIGO DUNES DENIED. Wetlands will not be destroyed. Nice Work Folks!!!!!

803 The serious and negative repercussions of this "Build for Greed" proposal are as usual, obvious only to those who live and work in this area. If we do not preserve our natural resources now, projects like Indigo Dunes will continue to eat away at the economy and land, making the mindless morons richer with no concern for nature or residents in this area. All they care about is money. When will the people say "STOP" WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH! I say the time is now. Why not turn all the churches in this area into condo's as well?

810 Building proposed at Indigo Dunes doesn't agree with preserving the Chesapeake Bay. Completely opposite and saving the Bay is much more important than the building on this wetlands site. The increasing traffic will provide for more congested roads and more accidents.
811 Overdevelopment of this wetland corridor will be not just a tragedy but a crime!

818 I live in Ocean Park and I very much enjoy the waterfront location. All I have to do is walk out my front door and go fishing, kayaking, or run my dog whenever I please. I wouldn't be able to enjoy these things if Indigo Dunes gets it's way. Indigo Dunes will destroy all that is good about Ocean Park. This monstrosity will hurt the community and it's only driving force that I can see is money, which is rarely a good motive. They say all good things must come to an end, if we all don't pull together to stand up and stop this atrocity from happening, thats exactly what will happen. sign me up.

825 I am an Ocean Park resident.
826 Bring back Duck In!!
827 I have lived in and fished that area for over 40 years. I know the property very well. It's a marsh not developable property. Water quatity is the key problem in Lynnhaven and rampant development of marsh areas is the key problem 1000 homes is way too many for that area to stand. Cut it back to 2 houses per acre and even then don't allow filling bulkheading or dredging. William Davis

831 Follow the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act, it's the law for a reason!

834 I lived in Va. Beach until 3 years ago at 1400 Wakefield Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
835 Beside the fact that this development will violate the Chesapeake Bay Protection Act, the increase in the amount of traffic is unbearable. I live right off of Pleasure House and the intersection of Pleasure House and Shore is already a wreck. You also have to consider the strain on the surrounding schools. Adding more potential students into the densely populated Shore Drive area is going to eventually cause redistricting issues for the entire city, since most of the schools being built are out in the Princess Anne / Pungo Area.

838 I have lived in Ocean Park for 14 years. I chose this area to work and retire in because of the small community feel and the beauty of the ever changing bay. Over the last few years density has become an issue. Now safety has become another. We need to say NO to this progect and others like it and start getting a handle on saving the Bay and restoring the eco system back to what it once was.

843 Any entity, like L. M. Sandler and Sons, that can pit the Virginia Beach Police Department against the good neighbors of Ocean Park, can't be a good venture. The City of Virginia Beach should be ashamed of this kind of payback against any of its citizenry .
844 Enough with the building. Leave the little bit of land we have left alone!
845
846 I live on baylake beach, and for years I have watched condos continually being built on shore drive. This project is not only a violation of law, but it will be added traffic to shore drive, continued bay pollution, and send a message that money and developers influence mean more than wildlife and bay protection. Allowing Indigo Dunes would be a sad day for the Shore Drive community.
847 I was born and raised in chicks beach, and this development has to stop!!
