As a homeowner in Ocean Park, I can not see how the small revenue generated by letting the developers build homes will improve the roads and traffic conditions. There is simply no logic in that arguement.

It seems like every little piece of land in Virginia Beach has been developed into either a parking lot, shopping center or neighborhood. If this development goes through and Shore Drive gets re-done...what happens to the homes that are already on Shore Drive? This development is supposed to add 1096(+) homes to that area. Think about it...2 cars per home. That is about ANOTHER 2200 cars added to Shore Drive. And more students added to the schools that some are being taught in protable trailers in the back. No- I do not want this development in my back yard!

I do not agree with developments in the buffer zone of the Lynnhaven River.

No compromise! No development at Pleasure House Point.

More open space for the public on the Lynnhaven River is essential. The City should do all it can to retain this waterfront property and make it an eco-friendly park for use by all Virginia Beach citizens.

Shore Drive is not safe. The road simply can not support additional development until requisite infrastructure is provided to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Please do not further aggravate this deadly situation by allowing further development.
This development would be egregious for Shore Drive. There is already too much density and traffic. City Council should not even consider such a development. Vote NO!
Thank you to the civic leaders who have taken a step to stop this travisity.

Our Taxes are even too high for a retired doctor and wife!!! Who else will be able to afford the over kill of indigo???Clearly, Indigo will over tax this area with dangerous traffic, pollution, and over popuation. Is this area not cited by the Chesapeake Bay Preservaion Act? I thought we were trying to clean up Lynnhaven Bay and adjoining tributaries. Indigo will put us back.

Is it really necessary to use up ALL of the open space left in VB? I mean the place is way overcrowded as it is and is losing (if not already) its cosmetic appeal. I know that I will be leaving VB some time in the next 5 years to move somewhere where it is not so crowded. One of the reasons I moved here was because it was unlike other beach towns - not every square foot of sand and land had been built on. Unfortunately, that is changing. Unless you move to Pungo - there is no longer a quiet place to live in this city and that is sad. For me,I will continue to maintain a second home here for visiting and vacationing - but I no longer desire to liver here long-term.

Need to keep more open space on the beach.
If development has to happen reduce the amount of units, and maintain the required 100-foot Resource Protection Buffer.

Isn't Va Beach crowded enough already, thats why i left...good luck

I regularly use the waterways in this area, and putting in any type of housing would ruin the pristine natural beauty that surrounds this little bit of heaven left along the shores. I say the city should buy the land and leave it as a natural habitat for the wildlife, put in jogging trails for the runners, so they could saty off the side of shore drive, put in park amenities and virginia beach would have another jewell in its crown for the residents of the bayside side of the lesner bridge. Why do we need to cover every available square inch with housing that no one can afford? The wildlife that abounds within the confines of this area is amazing...if folks had some degress of access to it. It is too shallow for boating of the regular sort, and how can any kind of permit be allowed so close to the chesapeake bay watershed?
The real estate market is already flooded with homes, and the city is getting so populated it takes double the amount of time to get anywhere. Is it really necessary for these big wig developers to come in, buy a parcel and cram as much crap as humanly possible on it? its not like these guys need the money!

Traffic is so heavy right now, I can't imagine adding more housing.
We citizens are begging you, our city council members, to please pass up the opportunity to build 1,000 more homes in Indigo Dunes. Virginia Beach does not need another mega housing development. Its citizens need more preserved open space and more public access to the Lynnhaven River . It is a fantastic opportunity. The citizens are begging. Please save this beautiful spot for the people.

There is presently a TV commercial about land selling near Casper, Wyoming for about $1000 an acre in 40 acre plots. Tell the Sandlers to consider building their Indigo Dunes project in Wyoming.

Even with a special tax district, and trails (assuming permanemt public access) I am opposed to indigo dunes based on density issues, traffic concerns, the environmental degradation it will cause. Of note I am opposed and do not live in the shore drive corridor. My address is 3716 Northmoor Court, VB, Va, 23452

This is an outrage. Shore Dr. is already completely congested and the sprawl has taken all the character and appeal away from such a special area.
