| 903 | Giving customs officers the right to bear arms against Akwesasne Mohawks is a step in the wrong direction. First Nations people live in impoverished conditions, and their treaty rights are consistently infringed upon. As with Oka, the government should enter into well-intentioned negotiations, instead of using force to overcome resistance. |

| 921 | Duane Brayboy | It is disappointing how fond Canadian customs agents are of guns. How American of them. I expect more from Canada. Who else does America have to look up to? |
| 922 | Mary White | I support the Akwesasne Mohawk Leadership on this issue. |
| 923 | Jennifer Cedar Elk Lehmann, Ph.D. | I am an Indigenous person, born to a mother who was born in "Canada" to a presumably white woman and a First Nations man. She was adopted out illegally to the "U.S." where she had me with a mixed blood Indian. I am a scholar and activist in Indigenous Affairs, and I am familiar with the Akwasasne struggles. I support them with all my heart, and I hope that "Canada" will recognize their rights and needs, and RESPECT THEM, and give them what they need for self-sufficiency and economic, political and cultural integrity - what they always had, that to which they have all the rights and all the need in the world. |
