| 1 | William Ginnever | There are many other options for the use of the PPG land. Let's make it our best option and not a heavy industrial one. |

| 3 | Marilyn Yesberg | We must stop the ill-advised actions of our "elected" officials. They didn"t do their homework very well. At the 09/24/07 Council meeting, they admitted they didn't know how much water or sewage usage would result from this plant. This affects FESTUS, too. |

| 5 | Glenda Propst | I would love to see Crystal City grow. My dad retired from PPG and it was an important part of the entire Jefferson County area, but for the future generations of this community we need to offer them something better. |

| 12 | Colleen Agee | There are others interested in developing this site. The city needs to examine these other greener options. I agree the economic development of Crystal City should be a priority to the council, especially after the sharp decline of business development after PPG's closure. However, it is equally important to keep the citizens safe and healthy. The neighboring town of Herculaneum is a prime example of allowing industry to risk the health of a population. Hopefully the council will learn from the mistakes of Herculaneum and Doe Run before they are seeing this towns health affected. |
| 13 | Amanda Burke | It is time that we the people took action agaisnt this type of stuff. It will destroy the area and kill all of wildlife. It will not only affect this area, but all of the areas along the river and where the animals are. If we do nothing, we will pay for it in the long run. |
| 14 | Anonymous | Industry is a good thing, and would be a great thing for Crystal City......if it was a clean, American company. Instead we are offered a polluting interest that has Red China written all over it.
No thanks!!! |

| 24 | Tiffany Jackson | The thought of adding something of this nature to our town, that could possibly be linked to communist China, is absolutely absurd! I truly believe that if this deal becomes final we will start to see a large number of our upstanding members of the community and their families moving away. So sad that our local government can't see this. |

We don't need the smeltering plant, we need parks, recreation instead, for the City to Grow with the future of our children, and their children. |

| 41 | Larinda Bossung | Im a concerned Festus resident who also has family in Crystal City. I feel that Jefferson County needs to court or develop industries that are not negative to our health and the environment. I feel that this particular industry is negative to both. |
| 42 | Samantha Turner | To have this smelter plant would cause more pollution and harm than this small town can take. |
| 43 | Nathaniel Craden | NO TO SMELTER!!!! |
| 44 | Connie Craden | NO TO SMELTER!!!! |

| 46 | Scott Heuschober | In the best interest of the residents of the City and County, we do not see the benfits of an iron smelter or other heavy industrial development in the community. |
| 47 | Jani Rogers | |
| 48 | Jackie (Parr) Morris | I oppose any such development that will endanger my family members in any way and ruin the land surrounding Crystal City.
My Mother has asthma and this will greatly impact her. |

| 50 | Marcie Elliott | Are these people crazy for wanting to put a smelter just feet from the people of Crystal City??? Apparently they lack the thing we call COMMON SENSE! |
