Grant H. IchikawaI volunteered for the US Army in Nov 1942 from an internment camp in Arizona and served in the Army in the Pacific Theater as a linguist. It took a lot of courage to prove your loyalty to the US when you are jailed in a concentration camp as an enemy alien and you volunteer to fight against Japan, the very country you are accused of being loyal to. Our generation of Japanese American who fought in WWII deserve to be honored with a stamp.

AnonymousThe 442/100th deserve recognition - they joined to fight the war and serve our country even though they and their families lost their homes and possessions and were incarcerated behind barbed wire. Their accomplishments should be honored with a stamp -- it's the least our country can do to pay respect to the sacrifices made by these soldiers.

Susan NekobaI think it would be a great honor to these men to have a postage stamp honoring their bravery and heroism during World War II. With the number of veterans in this group dwindling quickly, hopefully, some honor can bestowed upon the survivors. Please consider honoring these men with a postage stamp.

kathleen yamaguchi
Stanley N. KanzakiThousands of Japanese Americans served in the US Army during WW II both in Europe and in the South Pacific despite being victimized by racism at home. Some volunteered out of the concentration camps they were unjustifuably incarcerated in. Some did not come back giving their lives to their country. It is about time that their heroism be noted in a commemoration stamp. "Love of country conquers."
Byron Fujikawa
Katie Kutac
Coleen Y. WakaiRequest postage stamp for Japanese Americans Veterans.
Tomoyuki NagasawaWe should never forget NISEIs' dedication to their country and their surfferings.
Elizabeth A. Locker
Jacqueline ReckseitThese brave young Nisei men were done a terrible disservice by America - we need to do what we can to right that situation now.
