101 EDWARD Y NAKAMURA
102 Nancy BellinThis is such a deserving petition. It would bring an awareness and late appreciation of just what heroes these men were. I was in the camps when many were volunteering out of the camps to go defind the very nation that had incarcerated the young men. We should all do whatever we can to right the injustice and commend the men who fought so valiantly for our country.

105 Wilson LinIt is altogether too easy to overlook the magnificent contributions that many segments of our armed forces have provided over the years. Let us not make the same mistake here.

111 MArlene ElbinIT would be fitting to honor those who far too many are unfamiliar with. Their special service and scaricfices for a country that was hostile to them at the time is a great example to everyone.

124 Colleen Fukui-SketchleyMy Great Uncle was killed in action during WWII. He served as a medic and was attached to the 442nd RCT. He served this country during a time when we needed it most...and at this same time, his entire family was kept behind bars until the war was over. To honor the Nisei who served in WWII is cruial. Please consider making this a reality now. Thank you!

129 Marleen WallingfordNissei World War II veterans served their country during a very difficult time for Japanese Americans. Even as many of their families were incarcerated in relocation centers, these men were willing to go to war to fight for freedom.
130 Robert Minoru NakamuraI am a retired U.S Army officer. I served two tours in Vietnam, and the Nisei soldiers of WWII were my inspiration as well as the Nisei soldiers who served during the Korean War.

133 RoseConsidering the number of Nisei that live in the United States....it seems to be a "win-win" situation for the US Postal Service. You make a large population of U.S. Citizens proud and you sell more stamps.
134 Richard KinoshitaLong overdue!
135 Ronald OtaPlease honor my father, who served (and survived) in WWII. He was in Co. D of the 100th Battallion.

147 Paul UyeharaThe sooner, the better. Many of these vets have passed already.
148 Alicia YamadaI strongly endorse this petition.
149 Gary N. MayedaI believe that it is the honorable thing to do. I would use tons of these stamps.
150 Doreen Asako DavisA stamp honoring the brave soldiers of the 100th/442nd battalion is long overdue. The circumstances of our Japanese-American soldiers' service were particularly poignant in that they and their families were treated dismally at home, yet they laid down their lives to protect the very country that rejected them. It is a tragedy that the majority of these brave men will not live to see themselves honored with a U.S. postage stamp - 2 of my uncles and 2 friends' fathers among them. One of my uncles, who has been active with the survivors of the 442nd, is now blind so he, too, won't be able to see the stamp. The time is long passed to honor these heros nationally!!
