| 102 | Segun Awotesu | Truly despicable behaviour by Brutish Airways
If you are unable to treat Nigerians with common decency kindly terminate the London -Lagos route.
Thank You |

| 104 | Anonymous | disgusting behaviour by BA |
| 105 | Akin Akintayo | I am utterly disgusted by this episode, I think the man should get his MP Jonathan Shaw involved. |

| 107 | Anonymous | We can't continue to sit down and look. Why are we always treated badly by BA |
| 108 | Lola Adedoyin | I think this is a terrible disgrace and is only another line in a long list of systemic, shambolic behaviour by British Airways.
Mr Walsh, you should hang your head in shame! |
| 109 | KC Nwichi | |
| 110 | olagbuyi oduniyi | BA should learn to treat all passengers equally. |
| 111 | John Bull | Truly disgusting that these innocent men should be ignominiously deported.
Why can the British Government not give them a boat with adequate supplies of food and water so that they may proudly return to the land of their birth?
Said boat and food to cost less than airfares. |

| 113 | Bunmi Lorofidelo | I read today in the Guardian Reuben Abati's column on the BA mistreatment etc. of Nigerians and Omotade in particular. As a Nigerian who travels to different parts of the world on several airlines using a non-Nigerian passport, I have witnessed such mistreatment of Nigerians often and I have intervened like Omotade as often. I have also witnessed Nigerians rise up to defend even non-Nigerians, and I was so proud of their gallantry. I would urge Nigerians, indeed Africans to join the boycott of BA for this sad behaviour. It will send the message to other organizations, companies and countries that Africans will no longer sit and smile when they are treated as sub-humans. I would like us to organize seriously, and for each of us who have the network to share the information and actions to be taken with other Africans in our network and establishment. By organising against eveil, we can stop eveil, or at least reduce its potential to act.

| 114 | ade martins | The actions of the Police was OTT not only did they arrest making him miss the brothers wedding but 136 other passengers also got booted off this type of treatment would never be allowed to happen to European about time we did something about this because this has carried on for too long |
| 115 | Michael Ayeni | An apology is in order. |
| 116 | Jibola-Micheals Akinola | this is horrible. i will never fly B.A again |

| 119 | Olabode Alarapon | I have experienced such treatment with Air France, KLM and BA |
| 120 | Tara Ajao | I am disappointed and disgusted with this. it's making my skin crawl!!!! in this day and age? things like this still happen. with all the issues on terminal 5 and the many problems surrounding BA they go and do this? do they have any isea what this can do to their reputation? i dont think they know how important the London -lagos or abuja route is with them. Boycott BA for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 121 | Olawale Omotunde | Total boycott
I will lead the campaign in every nook and crannies of Nigerian joints in UK
Only a genuine, honest apology will amend the situation. |
| 122 | Anonymous | The problem is that racism has not truly ended, but when it comes to taking from us they realise we are imprtant.I still look forward to the day when things will be reversed(they being sold as slaves in the black country).Cos all I see is pure RACISM |
| 123 | Anonymous | it's not fair on how Nigerians are being treated by BA. |
| 124 | Anonymous | BA is full of incompetent people, last time I travelled with them, they lost my bag, almost a year later, I am yet to hear a word from them on the location of my bag. what is most annoying is I didn't buy a BA ticket, it was one the the joint partner stuff. they lack respect for Nigerians and treat us very badly, myself and family will never fly BA again. |
| 125 | Ikechukwu | To be honest there is no need to be blowing fire, no need to damage your keyboard out of typing too hard. Everyone should just boycott the airline. As a journalist reported in one newspaper, during Abachas time BA was banned from coming to Nigeria, and then they started going to Ghana...and the airline really felt it because the Lagos route is one of the most lucrative.
I propose that BA should be banned from coming to Nigeria ( but ofcourse thats not going to happen).
So NEVER use BA and when they see their profits go down, their eye will open.(Because the only language oyibo understand is Money) |

| 132 | Dayo Fadina | I whole heartedly and unambiguously support this petition against British Airways. British Airways will not dare mete out this type of treatment to its own nationals. Unfortunately, the Nigerian Government and Nigerian High Commisiion are feckless and spineless really, in these issues of men and matters. Our government should be remonstrating and banging the drum in very robust strong terms on how unacceptable and untenable such a treat ment is to Nigerians.
For British Airwarys, British Airways is really the inferior of any man whose rights it tramples under foot; no matter how wealthy or powerful it thinks it is.
Handcuffing fellow human beings on a major world airline in this day and age just beacuse they are to be deported from the UK for immigration breaches beggars believe.
I hope all Nigerians boycott patronising British Airways for a very long time, until the Airline apologises and compensates the people concerned for the anguish and inhuman treatment they have suffered.
How will the British Government feel if the same treatment is meted on their own citizens by Jamaican Airways or Nigerian Airways. All hell would have broken loose by now.

| 134 | Olufunmilayo Sosanya | If this account is correct (and I see no reason to doubt it's accuracy), I think BA should be hit where it hurts i.e in their pockets. The UK to Nigheria route is a lucrative one for them and passengers should be treated with the respect and the dignity that they deserve. This man was only acting as I would have done and we need more people like him who are prepared to intervene when a situation demands it. I endoree wholeheartedly a BOYCOTT of BA. |
| 135 | Tola Fasoyiro | |
| 136 | David Otudeko | If I may add to this tragic story of injustice; as a solution-driven person, would it not have been wiser for BA to have pleaded with the passengers (Especially Mr Ayodeji Omotade) explain to them that the deportee will be removed from the air craft and comforted, they could have promised to look into the case further (considering the cries and discomfort of a man being returned to his country, can it be that bad? He may be a true deserving asylum case). It is my understanding that this kind of thing is done in discrete and only a few crew members and the authorities are usually aware of any deportee on board an air craft, For this reasons criminals been extradited have been known to be placed in First Class cabins on their own with security (surly this Nigerian deportee was not a criminal or was he dangerous). Now in this case the whole economy class became aware of a deportee on flight should the comfort of the paying passengers not be paramount to BA would it not have been better for BA to remove the deportee and placed him on the next flight, rather than evacuate 136 Nigerian passengers just to make sure one Nigerian deportee does not spend a few more hours in the UK.
BA should be made to pay for this it is obvious that their priorities are wrong. Those of us who are lawyers or influential in anyway should ensure this story be given as much publicity as possible. It will also teach Nigerians the importance of building a good image both at home and abroad. We as individuals should always show some decorum, integrity in anything we do. Like small ripples of water it becomes a mighty wave having the power to do and undo. Don’t underestimate the little efforts from each and every one of us to do the right thing all the time. |
| 137 | Pataki Nigeria | |
| 138 | Dr Andrew Robinson | I am not a Nigerian and don't use air travel due to the excessive airport "security", but even so I am shocked and disgusted at the behaviour of BA. The state/corporate attitude to "disruption" and "anti-social behaviour" is really an attack on dissent, basic rights and standing up for oneself and others against abuse by those in power. The idea of turning corporate agents into a privileged caste protected from any angry reactions however justified is becoming very widespread in Britain; while it is disguised by a theme of protecting workers, its real motivation is to deny rights to those who do not belong to this caste. There are obvious racist underpinnings to this denial of rights. Passenger objections have commonly been used in the past as a way to prevent deportations of refugees on commercial flights. Many airlines have been forced to stop being involved in deportations for this reason. Now the intolerant and vicious political climate is being used as a pretext to attack dissent yet again. This is intolerable and must be beaten back. Boycott BA and launch actions against their sites and offices too. |

| 142 | Tunde Salami | Nigerians in diaspora should come together to fight this injustice been meted on us.I think total boycott is the main issue now. |
| 143 | Demide Coker | |
| 144 | Angela Odiari | i agree that Nigerians should boycott BA in its entirety and Nigerian government ought to sanction them severly. They should be suspended from flying to Nigerian during the summer months, June to end of September. They should pay compensation to each of those Nigerians they threw out of the plane, especially the guy that pleaded for the deportee. |
| 145 | mingila | I concur |
| 146 | Obinna Ike | I wholeheartedly support the call to boycott British airways and commend you for the good work you're doing. Thanks |

| 148 | Harrison Shadrach | Enough is enough!!! We have not made people around the world to respect us. Now is the time. So that BA will learn. Nigerian Airways should come back to life because that is our national pride. I hope the govt is listenning to this. |
