407 Ralph LazinaAs previous residents of New Paltz, we often return to visit, dine and shop. We would no longer do this if New Paltz becomes just another megamall and outlet nightmare.
408 Judy CooperAs a native of the area, it is abominable what people who mostly are not from this area are trying to do to our gorgeous landscape! People move here from other areas because of the beauty of the land and then complain because they have to travel a distance to get to a store. If we go ahead with this project, the lushness of the landscape will give way to concrete and will be just like the places that people come here to escape from. Remind you of Long Island anyone?

427 john t ryanwhere is the extra traffic going,I cant get around town now. this is not needed
428 AnonymousThis property should be developed as per current zoning: clean light industry, and hamlet residential development -- not chain store retail! Offices would be a plus without draining retail dollars away from downtown. Crossroads is the wrong project for this location.
429 Sarah HasbrouckAnyone who has been in traffic on Main Street on any given afternoon.....ESPECAIILY when college is is session or when it's a Saturday or Sunday summer afternoon can tell you this development is a lousy idea.

433 Joshua BellVery high risk. Very little reward.
434 Lili Schad`I am strongly opposed to any development that takes away the character and flavor of New Paltz. As you know, New Paltz is unique, and this specialness is what draws people from all over the world. I moved here from the West Coast because of this flavor. I firmly believe that Crossroads will, in the long run, affect every business and home in the community - through school crowding, traffic jams, and most important, by creating a homogenous, badly designed, modular first impression to our town. It will make us like every other town in New Jersey. If we keep the vision, the attention to detail, visitors and residents, alike, will first see what we are best at - not what we are reduced to. 436 AnonymousWe moved to new Paltz because of it's beauty and its splendor. The fields and meadows are part of this area's appeal. Housing developments, chain restaurants and motels you can find anywhere!!

438 AnonymousPlease stop this project that will negatively impact our lovely community and destroy our struggling small businesses.

445 RaissaI am against the current planned development, I believe it would be detrimental to the livelyhood of many residents and business owners in the area. I would like to see businesses that truly benefit the community while maintaining New Paltz’s unique character.
446 Anna RankinPlease keep New Paltz the way it is... It's an escape, not a retail center.
447 KIMBERLY ROSENMEIERNEW PALTZ MUST REMAIN UNHARMED BY THE COMMON COMMERCIALISM THAT AFFECTS MOST CORNERS OF MOST TOWNS!!! THE ECCLECTIC PEACE AND MAJESTY THAT GIVE NEW PALTZ ITS ESSENCE, IS WHY I, AND SURELY MANY OTHERS, LIVE HERE!!! ONCE AGAIN IT WOULD BE TRAGIC IF NEW PALTZ WERE TO SUBMIT TO THE CROSSROADS PROJECT, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL RAMPAGE OF ITS KIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
