102 Charles WelchThis is not right.
103 Taina GresethIt's obvious that something is causing all these former employees to develop cancer. Do the right thing! We don't have a problem sending millions to other countries.

107 Patricia DenihanI give 100% of my support. I am embarrassed as an American that a petition is necessary to treat Ameicans as well as we treat non-Americans.

119 DONNA DIPENTINOTHIS "BURDEN OF PROOF" IS LUDICROUS. IF THE WORKERS WERE UNKNOWINGLY EXPOSED TO RADIATION AND CHEMICAL TOXINS HOW WOULDTHEY KNOW DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF EXPOSURE? AS MR. PUCCINELLI STATED THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT EXPOSURE TO THE TOOLS THAN THE WORKERS THEMSELVES.

144 Vina ColleyI was a former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant worker. The Plant is located in Piketon, Ohio. Piketon was one of the first of three sites to be placed on the Special Cohort. I have been fighting for my right to compensation since the 80's, and for other sick and dying workers. We do not need any more dose reconstruction, epidemiological studies, or risk assessments, Governor's panels (i.e., political solutions) or mortality studies. Compensation for the sick and dying workers have been marked by bureaucratic delays, conflicts of interest and inconsistent science that denies compensation to deserving claimants of whom are elderly. We need help with medical cards and compensation. We have are own doctors that have been treating us for years and experts who are independent and know the health effects of the chemicals and radiation that we have been exposed to. We have politically incorrect illnesses. We have experienced political science not good medical science. We have been forced into a position of proving the cause of illnesses when DOE/DOL possesses the "proof" much of which is either still classified, missing or destroyed. Doe has even admitted their radiation exposure records for employees are flawed. In some cases, we weren't monitored at all, and it has been said that DOE's health studies have been continually "inconclusive by design". Affected workers and "down winders" must have access to the best in medical care immediately and compensation for lost wages and careers. STOP THE DOSE AND ALL STUDIES AND PAY THE SICK AND DYING WORKERS.. The EEOICPA has been marked by bureaucratic delays, conflicts of interest, and bad science so why hasn't this criminal act STOPPED? The EEOICPA Act of 2000 is infested with professional "conflicts of interests" because many of those evaluating claims examiners formerly worked for the Energy Department. WHAT A SCAM! 148 AnonymousThis needs to be addressed and you need to reopen all of the denied cases, and get these people compensated like they were promised. My father-in-law's case was denied and our family is fighting to get it reopened, and get him his compensation while he is still with us. Please do the right thing!
149 Gretel MunroeWorkers need to be compensated for their unwitting exposure to contaminants, including radiation in the work place.
150 Jean C PappasIn my opinion I believe they have compensation coming to them and their families
