Petition to Condemn Nine Inch Nails Concert Raid

The petition

On the eve of 04/18/2007 in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles, California, the post-industrial, modern glam disco punk band Nine Inch Nails requested the presence of chosen individuals for what would ultimately end up as a private concert.

After a short introduction by the webmaster of www.opensourceresistance.net, the individuals were escorted into a nondescript room where Nine Inch Nails gave a surprise concert. This concert was prematurely disrupted by a group of SWAT team members, and the visitors were forcefully removed from the premises -- despite the fact that now laws were being broken.

This is obviously a direct attack on our civil liberties. We, the undersigned, hereby condemn this blatant abuse of our freedom to assembly and challenge the President of the United States of America to see that those responsible receive an applicable punishment.
