Americorps *NCCC offers community service of at least 1700 hours PER MEMBER. Members work in the areas of Unmet Human Needs, Education, Environment, Disaster Relief & Firefighting. Not only does this silent community service program have roots in all aspects of volunteering, it is a major support system for Red Cross and Fema during natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina. Our country simply cannot afford to cut this program! Please, sign the petition today and show your government and David Eisner, CEO of the Corporation for National Service that this program is necessary and they must do everything they can to save it! |
