Everyday thousands of women undergo a horrible procedure called Female Genital Mutilation. Many of these victims are still children.
Hundreds of women die each day from the terrible effects of Female Genital Mutilation.Those that live, often are depressed and even watch their own daughters go through the terrible procedure.These women are unable to do anything about this terrible procedure because they have no say in their countries.
We therefore request the United Nations to help put an end to such a horrible act that causes thousands of needless deaths and tons of sufferring for those that undergo this horrible procedure.
