| 1175 | tina chasan | I had the most incredible experience today. "My" mummers were on WGN, TV from Chicago, and I got to see it in San Antonio Texas. I quickly got tot he phone to call all of my local Philly people, and gave them the good news. Although it was just the string bands that WGN shown (sponsored by Southwest Airlines(( bless them)) ), it was so uplifting. I am starved for my remembrances of Philly and this was a lifeline for me.
Thank you to WGN and to Southwest Airlines for bringing this to me and my friends.
This was amazing, simply wonderfully amazing. |

| 1184 | Maria Flack | Grew up with the Mummers and have not found any other way to celebrate the new year with more entertainment.
There are so many former philly mummer fans in florida please let us enjoy our tradition. BTW have many new fans from other states since they visit me and we watch what friends from Philly send me. |

| 1192 | Barbara Fishman | I have lived in Texas for 25 years but on New Years Day there is nothing like the Mummers Parade. I have told my children about it and we like to watch as a family .This New Years I was very disappointed to find the same tournament of roses parade on every stinkin channel. I turned off the tv and read a book. |
