We Need More Time on Tests

The petition

Mr. Foley's tests are extremely hard. Most of the time they are four to six pages (front and back). Mr. Foley usually talks for five or ten minutes before we get started, leaving us with only 45 minutes to finish the test. In his period one advanced geometry class, we had a very large test that we had to finish in the small amount of time he gave us. Not one kid finished the test. When we asked him if we could finish the test after school, he told us to get over it and that there was no extra credit that we could do to make up the points. Most kids got 10 to 15 points off just from the unfinished problems. We do not believe that we should be punished just for working slower than other people. Mr. Foley's students just want to have some extra time after school to finish his tests so we can do better in the class.
