They know what this is, and have known a long time. I am convinced there is a coverup beyond our wildest imagination and that we are victims beyond "accidental" - I will - with my lawyer present, show evidence of this correspondence, in a court of law. Aren't there enough mice and rats? I have used the "handle" Maggie Mae in my posts via internet and mailings to many sites and institutions.

My wife was forced to leave for 7 years and missed out on so many family things and our kid's lives. I believe now, what she tried to show me for years..This is beyond my comprehension but I know this, she is NOT delusional, crazy, or anything else...on the contrary...she is a lot smarter than most. As a student of psychology at Michigan State University, and a family member of a person suffering from this disease, I strongly urge the CDC to investigate this disease with more urgency.

415 AnonymousI'm wanting to know what this is, where it came from, and if it can vbe spread. I had just recovered from being sick for several years from a liver disease, started eating very healthy, lsot 50 lbs in 3 months,and was very happy to start my life again. Then after what I'd thought to be a problem with bird mites or something, this came along. I miss my Grandkids terribly, and am waiting to find out what is going on, so I won't give it to them! I have had enough of going to Drs. only to be looked at as a lunatic. THIS is REAL. I do NOT have open sores, but do feel bites, stings, and find the blue & black fibers. I thought the brain fog was from my liver though. Although, after eating healthy, losing the weight, for the 1st time in several years, my liver enzymes showed they were stable!

430 Carol OverstakeI first noticed the very evident physical symptoms at the end of April, 2006. After coping with this condition for 2 1/2 years, I feel that evidence shows to me that I may have had this for many years, talking about 4 or 5 years, as I now know what the fluttery first feelings and symptoms have developed into. It is very subtle until it seems to be 'fullblown'. Then it is a disease that hurts a lot, uncontrollable, and has no known cure yet. I have done a lot of 'researching' and learning online. My doctors, in April of 2006, told me to stay off the computer, and not to read anything about it. I am surely glad that someone is finally at least 'looking' at this condition. 432 lisa smiderlei am a unfortunate human of 27. this horendous monster plaguing my body for a good year now. i wish that the government would hear our voices and belive our desperate words for help in discovering the asnwer to a cure! we are not dellusional! we are human beings that deserve compasion and empathy. i live a nightmare of a life and i hope that one day soon i can wake up to a life without morgellons!!!

438 AnonymousPlease acknowledge and investigate this disease. It is becoming widely understood that, in fact, there may be no reason for the CDC to investigate. The reason for a NON-INVESTIGATION would be the same reasons that agent orange was denied for so long. And the same reason that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder of our Viet Nam Vet's was denied for so long..... Why they were told to keep their mouths shut.... What they saw, what they were told to do..... NEVER HAPPENED!! If in fact either the Amercian Government or CDC, or both... already know what this is and what has caused it, I beg of you, I pray to God almighty, that he would prick your conscience enough to cause enough of you to speak up, to do the humane and moral thing, to at least release the information. I personally am not looking for retribution, just a way to understand and do whatever is necessary to stop the progression of a long list of symptoms and to spare anyone else from being infected if it is contageuos. I would bet that it is safe to say, 90% of the people suffering would not seek retribution if they could just get an answer, a solution, validation that they are not nuts!! I don't expect an acknowledgeent of liability, but I do expect our own Government and CDC to make an effort to protect it's US ctizens. Of late, this has been rapidly declining. (See: Michigan Water Coast Line and CDC Cover Up found following years of complaints and FINALLY a formal investigation! All beacuse of greed!! Money and a failure to admit they made a mistake) Articles can be found @ MI.gov and a google search of MI Water COAST LINE & CDC). What does it gain a man (or government or the CDC) to profit the whole world if he looses his own soul? In the same respect, if this disease kills off the population you are collecting your mass fortune and taxes from, where will you collect your fortune from and who will you rule over? AND.... what if actually reaches and effects your families children, grandchildren, YOU??? Will you still back the cover-up? Will you still agree it is just in everybody's head? That 9000 + families are delusional? It is simply unfathomable that 9,000+ families, who have had the courage to finally speak up, who have never met each other, who have never even been in close proximity to one another, could have all of the same syptoms and continuing damage to their physical self, families, jobs and life as a whole unless this is real. Likewise, the physical evidence has proven it to be real. Look at the evidence, the proof is in the skin. The proof is in the blood! I beseech you to HELP YOUR PEOPLE...... HELP YOUR COUNTRY!!! Our government doesn't seem to have any problem sending US citizens to help other countries and spending billions of dollars and sacrificing thousands of innocent US citizens lives to do that!!! It's all ready to jumpo up and help someone else in need. And I don't condem you for that..... BUT..... If you want to help somebody, anybody, remember...... Charity starts at home.... in your own back yard.... IN THE USA! If nothing else.... just tell us why? Tell us how to stop it..... if it can even be stopped. GIVE US AN ANSWER!! 440 TeresaI've had Morgellon's for over year now, if i was told to go to a one more "Phychiatrist" for being "crazy", "obsevisse compolsive" and asking me if "I thought it was real", I didn't know what to do, I still have it, it is real as my arms and scars are, and the worst part, my 70 yr old mom has it too..heartbreaking. Also, I had to put my cat down from him yelling and crying as fibers twisted his hair, got between his toes and weaved his hairs, I couldn't do a thing.....We need help and fast.
441 Susan MooreI am certain of my own personal diagnosis of Morgellons syndrome; disease, or whatever it has been categorized as. My primary care physician has prescribed two kinds of anti-biotic pills and cream to apply directly to visible (i call them 'postules')..I am not delusional or psychotic. I am a recovering alcoholic and have almost three years of sobriety. In January 2008 I was also diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis C, the specialist/gastroenterology will not begin treatment for Hep C., due to my weight loss and says I need to be 'stabilized' first, due to the lengthy Hep C. treatment and intense side-effects. I am losing layers of skin on and around lips, inside of my mouth, and on my legs, arms, neck, and it even comes out of my ears. I beg of you..of somebody.. out there to help me get this condition into remission or something because I am in dire need of beginning the Hep C. treatment..I must gain weight first, but CANNOT.
442 kim pettitI have a friend that I believe has this. At first I thought that she was "losing it"! Now I understand that she is just as sane as can be. I have seen these "fibers" as well as the ulcerations on her body, all over it. This definitely needs to be recognized by the CDC and investigated very soon. NOW! Thank you for your consideration.
