I started this letter to you 4 years ago. I have struggled with what to say and how to tell about this most horrific travesty, a disease now known as Morgellons. I have searched for an answer to my illness for 5 years and several times thought I had actually found the answer, but manifestations of this disease seemed to lead me on yet another wild goose chase. I only found out definitely what I am afflicted with when an angel, Billy Koch, (Oakland A’s) put his pride and reputation aside and disclosed his most intimate secret, a disease that is not only humiliating in itself, it is a condition that sets the victim up for continuous abuse and ridicule by the very people we were raised to trust with our health as well as with our lives, the medical community..

I write to you in hopes of validation of this disease in order to help my children, my grandchildren, my dear friends, and the other people that I love as well as all other innocent people who may also be infected with whatever this is. We, the victims of this horrific disease have been so abused and humiliated by the medical community, that it in itself is criminal. I was raised with Christian values, and one of the hardest parts of this disease is to be told that it is all in your head, you’re delusional, or in other words, you are a liar.

I have been accused of soaking in caustic chemicals funny to sick soak in them if I wanted to. Please someone I have lost everything because of this. HOW MANY DO I GIVE THIS TO EACH DAY ANYONE EVEN KNOW. I avoid people at all cost and live a very sad life. I wont give up because it is spreading fast so at some point I hope our goverment looks into this. Cash for clunkers is great but if we are all to sick to drive or fight for our country who needs a car! This illness needs attention before our country is to sick to work because know one listened to the sick who brought "matchbox" samples to doctors. Even as my bloodwork and labs come back out of range they still they look at me as if I want this to happen. I want to be healthy I have everything to lose by being ill including my 6 year old daughter so by me even wrighting this puts me at great risk. I cant read about people taking pills so they dont have to go on being sick life here in the us should not be like a third world country. I am a strong driven person so I have found ways to deal with my symptoms but for many who were told nothing was wrong or they were crazy they are giving up. As I say when you are told you are green everyday one day you wake up and you think you are green. My wrighting, spelling and laungage skills have taken a hit as my brain fog has slowed my thinking. You could save a sucide from a suffer and I will work hard before another even ponders taking thier life.
