The symptoms developed on my face and hands, which, aside from the lethergy & other chronic symptoms, have made showing my face in public rather unbearable. I have since been suspended from school due to poor academic progress, have become a social pariah, and , most importantly, I have become financially destitude. I am 30, and feel like my life has ended before I even had a chance to enjoy it.

This disease has taken a toll on my body as well as my husbands. They say that the soars are self inflicted and he imagines the bugs. I have seen the things that come out of his skin and know for a fact that he isn't doing this to himself. I had an unexplained knee joint infection in 2001 requiring multiple surgeries and IV antibiotics that also resulted in small scars over my arms and chest, so concerned about having Morgellons or concerned about overlapping symptoms with CDS/CFIDS. We a need serious and immeidate response to these devastating diseases. |

| 731 | Anonymous | My entire family is suffering from Morgellon's including my father (who is currently missing, we believe he may have commited suicide because of the severity of his symptoms in the last 2 months before his disappearence), my sister, my brother-in-law, my nephew (23 months old), my husband, my 3 children (ages 12, 7, and 3), and myself. It is becoming increasingly hard to maintain and function normally in daily living activities due to the severity of our symptoms. I am rapidly losing my vision and feel crawling and biting sensations about every 30 seconds, my 3 year old son has tubes in his ears and I believe that whatever this is is invading him through his ear canals which is an open passageway to his brain because he will come up and ask me to get the bugs out of his ears. We are all normal everyday people, non-drug using, intelligent, no history of mental health issues, and very hardworking middle-class families. This is so scary, PLEASE HELP US!! I don't want my entire family to be scarred for life, go blind, go deaf, or have any more horrible things happen to us. |
