At this date, ALL members of my household are infected, my fiance blames me for his infection and has called off our wedding, I cannot work full time, and my children, who were formerly in the Talented and Gifted Program at their respective schools, are not able to concentrate enough to finish simple tasks. I am a upper, middle class, 36 year old, professional mother. If this can happen to me, it can happen to YOUR loved ones. PLEASE don't sit by while my family suffers horribly and dies!!! |

We need to stop dismissing these patients as merely having "Delusions of Parasitosis," and perform the type of rigorous epidemiologic studies that will give us the data we need to begin to understand Morgellons. If this is an emerging infectious disease, as many believe, the CDC could not be handling it in a worse way. |

I heard a rumor that President Bush vetoed a bill that went across his desk for research into this horrible thing. I voted for him both times, I thought he was a christian, may God forgive him if the rumor is true. If there is the slightest possibility that any of the rumors of military involvement are true, may I suggest that you figure a way around it and find some answers for us. We are not mad at you for what you may or may not have done, we are very let down by our mighty government that we have always had so much pride in, and very confused as to why you are not doing something to help. If any of these rumors are true, we are not a country that needs to be in Iraq or any other country trying to put an end to dictatorship. We would definitly need to clean off our own porch first. I do not mean to sound disrespectful of anyone, honestly I don't. I really just wanted to say something that I knew would throw up a red flag, so you would read what I have to say. I am a sufferer, I have a family that I love and that loves me, just like anyone who may be reading this does. If you knowingly let something this horrible go on in your country, where your own family lives, I cringe to think about what we, as a country might sit back and watch going on in another. May God lay a burden on you that keeps you from sleeping or eating until you do something about it. I still love my country, and I stand behind my leaders. It appears to be seeking oxygen,because nothin,no viruses or bacteria or animal can live without it.It's attempt to search for fresh air seem in keeping with any living thing,humans being the apparent host. I do know there have been fish with skin lesions we have been told to not eat.Has anyone examined them for Morgellen's disease? What about the medicine we use to kill tape worms?They seem to work.Like chemotherapy,it seems you have to kill the good to kill the bad, but for now, until we know genetically to rid ourselves of this ,keep your immune system healthy and don't expose any open cuts to the air or surfaces.Plus don't go into the ocean around where industrialized nations dump polutants,etc. |

We contracted it when living in new housing in northern California where acres of land were being developed for housing and things started streaming into the house from the windows. Most of our personal contacts also have similar symptoms. My sister lost her dog 2 months after the dog was exposed. My other sister lost her right eye (90% cornea damaged) and will need a cornea transplant in a few months. I was horrified when my girls went to college in Utah to find the apartment buildings covered with the same shining webbing and pathogens that we had in California. |
