Bring Back Monkey Island

The petition

Throughout the 1990's, Lucas Arts produced what are generally regarded as some of the best adventure games of all time. In recent years, they seem to have completely forgotten about these classics, such as Monkey Island or Grim Fandango, in order to concentrate on producing excessive numbers of Star Wars games. I, frankly, for one, am sick of this....

This petition aims to show Lucas Arts that enough people miss these classics to make the production of sequels/followups a viable alternative (in terms of profit) to producing more generic Star Wars games, and so deter them from halting the production of, or scrapping, the aforementioned sequels.

In particular, the undersigned believe that Lucas Arts should commision another sequel to Monkey Island franchise, or surrender the rights to its creator, Ron Gilbert, so that he might do what they have been unwilling to do for the past 7 years.
