Kristin | Pugh | VA | US | He was one of the reasons that I really care about the game as a kid. He was one of the greatest, most unselfish players out there on the field every Sunday. Not only was he a great player, but he certaintly made the players around him better. I will never forget his play in big games for the Redskins. Whenever they needed a first down at a critical time period he was their to guarentee a first down and continue a drive for the Redskins. For a younger kid to remember vividly the contributions of such a player conveys the tremendous value of his play and elitism in professonal football. I feel so strongly about this, that it would be an absolute crime if Art Monk were not voted into the Hall of Fame next year at this time.

| 18 | Ankit | Bhalla | MD | US | AS YOU CAN SEE THAT I AM UNDER 21, I AM ACTUALLY 16 BUT I'VE ALWAYS HEARD ABOUT THE LEGEND ART MONK. I HAVE JERSEYS OF THIS MAN EVEN THOUGH HE DID NOT PLAY UNTIL I TRULY BECAME A FAN. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT HE HAS NOT MADE IT. I HEAR SO MUCH ABOUT ART MONK HE IS A LOVED PLAYER IN WASHINGTON HE AND DARREL GREEN ARE BY FAR THE MOST TALKED ABOUT PLAYERS FROM THE PAST. I EXPECT DARREL TO MAKE THE PROBOWL AFTER SEEING HIS GREATNESS. I KNOW THAT HIS YARDS PER CATCH WERE NOT AMAZING BUT WHY IS HE NOT IN THE HALL. NEARY THIRTY WIDE RECIEVERS ARE IN THE HALL AND ART SURPASSES NEARLY ALL OF THEM IN VIRTUALLY EVERY CATAGORY. HE WAS THEE WIDE RECIEVER OF THE TIME ON TOP OF THAT HE WENT TO ALL THOSE SUPERBOWLS WITH COACH GIBBS. WAS IT OTHER PLAYERS WHO CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN ART? IT IS POSSIBLE BUT WHY IS THERE (NOTICE IS NOT PLURAL) ONE 1 PLAYER FROM COACH GIBB'S IN THE HALL IT IS A TRAVISTY. MONK DESERVES TO BE IN THE HALL ALONG WITH MANY OFFENSIVE PLAYERS FROM A RECORD SETTING OFFENSE. I MEAN HOW, HOW, HOW CAN IT BE POSSIBLE THAT SUCH AN AMAZING OFFENSE WITH AMAZING POINTS PER GAME AND YARDS NOT HAVE 1 PLAYER IN THE HALL THAT IS NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE PASS GAME IN THE HOF THAT INCLUDES THE OFFENSIVE LINE THEEEEEEEEEEE HOGSSSSS
THIS IS UNFAIR Y? JUST GIVE US A REASON Y? Y? Y?> Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? |
Shane | Ross | | US |
Jason | Brown | | | Greatest wide receiver of all time.
Brion | Lescault | VA | US | It's ridiculous that this type of thing even needs to be created because he should have been in the HOF for the past couple years. Even if a player isn't flashy and all chummy with the media, if he finishes in the top five, sometimes even number one, of multipe stats relating to his position, there is absolutely no reason it take this much effort to get a player of that caliber into the HOF.
Eric | Brindley | | | He retired as the all time reception leader guys.
Larry | Bowles | VA | | Clearly, Art Monk is the epitmoe of a Hall of Fame wide receiver. He left the game in the to 10 in career receptions, held the record for most consecutive games with a catch, had 3 Super Bowl rings, and displayed more character than ANYONE in the league today.

Tony | Wilbert | GA | US | No question, Art Monk deserves to be in the Hall.
randy | leftwich | | US |
Jade | Reedy | IL | US | Anyone who has set as many records as Art has deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. It is time to quit judging on character.
