Stop the Zoning Change to Allow the Development of Metropolitan Station

The petition

We, the names below, strongly object to the BACP94 Amendment to change the designation on a 23.04 acre tract from Levels 3 and 6 to Level 3. The property is located 1/4 mile west of Aspen, 1/4 miles north of Kenosha Street, is currently vacant and is zoned CG and IL. The change would allow construction of about 240 apartments in six four-story building to be called the Metropolitan Station Apartments, proposed to be built between Elder and Aspen. It is imperative that no amendment change be passed that would allow any large-scale apartment development on this track. This would adversely affect our quality of life, traffic, schools, crime and general congestion.
